YES REALLY!!! Is it that hard to believe! I hate Apple, because then I had to use all Apple products, Mac, iPhone iPod, iTunes... and they are so expensive (not iTunes, I know!). Half of the prices is air! Just the trademark costs. And I can't play good games in Mac. And Macs are very irritating to use. Why everything has to be different than in PC? I use HP Pavilion notebook, Creative Zen X-Fi 2 media player and old (but working) Nokia cellphone (Nokia is Finnish like me).

Because they made your parents believe that wearing those things is not normal. I wear those things everyday here, it´s a small town, usually my dog wears the matching outfit. People always stop to ask where I'm performing or if I'm having a hen night, they don´t understand is my way of dressing. Sadly in my case it didnt happen that way. I was born w talent for foreign languages and art (painting, clothes making and design, not music). My parents would always prevent me from developing those skills all my life. My mum took away and hid my sewing machine, paints, any tools, my dad took away my learning books and I paid by myself for language courses inscriptions, it was hard to get the money as I was very young. Even when I was older my mum destroyed some of my paintings.

Thanks, but once again, I wasn't born with a "gift" or anything, I've learned to make these things by long and hard practise. I can admit that maybe I have talent, if that means natural prerequisite for art, and maybe not anybody can learn as good as I am, even with hard practise. But I think that with practise anyone can become very good at anything, although practise for some fields of subjects should begin with a fairly young age (like in music and maybe drawing and crafting).
@SireSasa Yes each of us is born with a particular talent. You can learn how to make things but if you're not a natural born artist you are not able to "create".
I don't believe that each of us is born with particular talent (some people can do nothing, sadly). There is no any "art genes" that would make a human being artistical, the environment and education makes it. I've drawn all my life, my parent's gave me pencils and paper when I were very young and they always encouraged me to make art (thanks to them). But I have always been better in art than same aged friends of mine (at least in the past).
@krissiees What the hell... Art is like everything, if you are in an environment which promotes art then you'll be inspired by the things you see, and you are used to creating more easily. As SireSasa said, people are not born with talents, but they are just born with a special environment. A scientist is often a child of scientists for example. I think everything we live, especially in our childhood, is what makes us. That is to say sexuality, passions, political thoughts... :)
Sexuality may not be one of those things created by environment. That is the whole point of "Born This Way", that homosexuals, as well as straights, didn't choose to be like that, and that's why they should not be bullied. Sexuality is an attribute, not a chosen stance, it awakes at puberty, but it may have always been there the way it is later. This is a very hard subject. Imagine, could you think that you could change your political opinion? What about your sexual orientation?

Freuds theories are later proven wrong. They might have become from his own childhood, and they can't be used to define every (if any) person. So you are saying that childhood have made gay people gay. That a child with "normal" straight childhood can't become a gay as an adult?

Sometimes they say that I could do something else for a change. But I don't show them my videos where I'm dressed up like Gaga, especially not makeup and dancing videos. My father just ordered me to either hide or destroy the Golden Crown of Thorns, he didn't want to see it again. I hide it of course.

@SireSasa I had a period when I painted naked bodies, but there were compositions and quite abstract, in fact I represented the movements. Same as your dad, I took all of them somewhere else for safety.Well, you say you don´t show him, my parents snoop around all the time to find out, so you have that advantage.

My parents are actually proud of my success, when I tell them how many views and friends I have in Youtube, but I don't want to show them all my things. Luckily they don't search my videos on Youtube. They are most concerned about the thing that I'm always making these props and videos and they hope I would get a new hobby. And also my room is getting full of these props and they don't want my props to full our house.

@SireSasa Ha, ha, my flat is crammed too, I'm talking about a big flat for myself and I have stuff in 4 different warehouses. Yes I've been making art all my life and learning foreign languages. I even spent some months in China last year learning Mandarin, my parents tried to avoid it by all means, but they couldn´t stop me. Put the crown in a safe place, they can´t understand you and forgive them.

I have my own apartment in a nother city where I go to school (at weekends I'm in my parents house), where is some of my props too. I have forgiven my parents already, I'm not angry for them. My dad is just ashamed if our neighbours see me in our garden wearing crown of thorns or something else not-normal. I don't know have they seen me (probably not).

Thanks, but once again, I wasn't born with a "gift" or anything, I've learned to make these things by long and hard practise. I can admit that maybe I have talent, if that means natural prerequisite for art, and maybe not anybody can learn as good as I am, even with hard practise. But I think that with practise anyone can become very good at anything, although practise for some fields of subjects should begin with a fairly young age (like in music and maybe drawing and crafting).

@SireSasa Yes each of us is born with a particular talent. You can learn how to make things but if you're not a natural born artist you are not able to "create".

I don't believe that each of us is born with particular talent (some people can do nothing, sadly). There is no any "art genes" that would make a human being artistical, the environment and education makes it. I've drawn all my life, my parent's gave me pencils and paper when I were very young and they always encouraged me to make art (thanks to them). But I have always been better in art than same aged friends of mine (at least in the past).

@krissiees What the hell... Art is like everything, if you are in an environment which promotes art then you'll be inspired by the things you see, and you are used to creating more easily. As SireSasa said, people are not born with talents, but they are just born with a special environment. A scientist is often a child of scientists for example. I think everything we live, especially in our childhood, is what makes us. That is to say sexuality, passions, political thoughts... :)

Sexuality may not be one of those things created by environment. That is the whole point of "Born This Way", that homosexuals, as well as straights, didn't choose to be like that, and that's why they should not be bullied. Sexuality is an attribute, not a chosen stance, it awakes at puberty, but it may have always been there the way it is later. This is a very hard subject. Imagine, could you think that you could change your political opinion? What about your sexual orientation?

@SireSasa That is why the lyrics of BTW annoy me. Of course you can't change your sexual orientation. But does it mean that it is in your genes ? I don't think so. I think this is like art. If the child is used to being surrounded by art since his infancy, he'll love art until the rest of his life. And he can't choose not to like art any more. He has no choice because he has grown up with it. Well, this is like sex. The first sex experiences of a child is determining his sexual orientation.

I disagree with this subject. Art and sexuality are totally different things. Art can be a hobby or job or passion in life, but it's not an attribute. Child can be taught to love art, but do you really believe that your parent could have taught you to be gay?
I was a bit annoyed about BTW before, because I thought it was too gay and only meant for them, but now I'm used to it and I love the song.

@SireSasa Parents don't do it on purpose, and moreover education is not done just by parents, but by all the people around us, including other children, adults, or pictures. I think that when people say "I am gay because i was born this way", this is just an excuse not to find in their past what have make them like that, because it is hard indeed, to remember and to face. I don't know if you know about Freud, the psychanalist, but if you do, then you'll get my point of view.

Freuds theories are later proven wrong. They might have become from his own childhood, and they can't be used to define every (if any) person. So you are saying that childhood have made gay people gay. That a child with "normal" straight childhood can't become a gay as an adult?

@SireSasa Sometimes, people don't accept their homosexuality and try to be straight, have sex with the other sex (it is possible with some pills, or other methods...), have children... and then turn out to assume their sexuality. So, in my opinion, someone who turns gay or bi was already it before, without having realized it really. And I trust in Freud, moreover I didn't hear about his theories proven wrong, but disputed. You have your ideas, I have mine, I think we won't convince each other :D

I don't like old Freuds outlived theories at all. Ugh, everything in our lives is supposedly a consequence of the traumas of our childhood! I had no traumas at all! Anyway, why would a gay take pills to get straight, get children and be depressed? Of course, someone who turns gay or bi has been such, since birth!!!
Why is it always, when I'm debating about something with someone, that someone won't ever change his/her opinion? Because people who change, don't debate. I won't either.

@SireSasa Calm down ! I said I don't like Youtube to debate because it's not pratical, in fact the best is to speak in real life (and I have an exam to prepare !). I am open-minded (I study philosophy so i am used to listening to different opinions from mine), but it's just that i don't go with your ideas despite your arguing, and as i can see we are both stubborn :)
It's not worth debating for years about it if we have already told our point of view.

I am calm, if we would argue face-to-face, I could get not-so-calm. I just read a high school philosophy book for "fun", and I think philosophy is for fools too. It just gives more questions and no answes at all (and don't say that's the point of it, because that's just a bad point!). Science can answer all the questions that philosophy can't. I am open-minded too, but I am very stubborn when I know I'm right and people won't believe me. Then I just argue long enough to get them convinced.

In school I debate about religion with a mormon (I think religion is for fools), about politics with a hippie (I think socialism is for fools), about philosophy with a nazi (I think racism is for fools), about inspiration with a motorcycle gangster (I think inspiration is for not-fools, [he hadn't find it]) and about art and style with a fool (I think fool style is for no-one).
