  • 13 people got blind

  • Meh. My friend had two. One he changed around and used it to point to different stars in the sky. Gave me a pretty good lesson on some constellations.

  • The S3 Krypton is the most powerful legal handheld laser. Shines up to 85 miles, visible from outer space.

  • i got one that goes 20 miles :)

  • @Edevansskate 20 miles is a longrer range than any portable laser I know. What make and model is it?

  • @matdan2 You're on youtube telling pepole to get lives, you're a sad sight get cancer and die.

  • Where can I make purchase of such bright device for airplane control? Purely capitalistic and pro-American Jewish Liberal Bush reasons are my sole motive, I assure of this, yes?

  • Where was this?

  • @sasuke3177 Some where in the US

  • @dragonlasersfanman

How far can these shine up too ?

  • @shaochiavang The 175mW model in this video has a range of at least 5-6 kilometers in normal conditions

  • Can someone recommend me a great 5 mw laser? To point very far in my building? KOz athere are so many scams and fakes and 100 mw faulty lsers.

Help please, I dont think I can find the answer by ersearching more

  • Yes, blind yourself on top of a building complex, that's like the new black

  • And this is why they tell you not to point lasers at aircraft.

  • neat!

  • @mdaydj Get a life? That is some what ironic coming from some one who uses their time to critisize tech hobbies on youtube.

  • @dragonlasersfanman That doesn't change the fact that you need a life, shithead

  • @matdan2 Telling some one they need a life in a youtube comment just does not work :) Way too ironic!

  • @dragonlasersfanman Sometimes in life, you just have to set your laser to ignore.

  • @matdan2 Hey asshole, different people have different interest. If you don't like, don't watch! Simple!

  • @mdaydj I'd rather play with lasers than look like a big fucking kid pissing around with toy helicopters you sad bastard. More to the point, I'd rather play with lasers than be a total cunt like yourself.

  • wow that is wow

  • i think itg waz fake add me on games games my name mkhkul olny will add if u have a reeal pic plz

  • what big was the dot at that range ?

  • One time there was a huge party, and like everyone there was drunk and since their were fireworks their was smoke, and kids were shinning it at the sky and everyone was like OMFG A FUCKING ALIEN INVASION!!!!

    Funny as hell.

  • just shined my 65mW at 3 planes last night

  • just keep it on the horizontal thanks

  • life in jail

  • i got the modified jd 850 from greece which is 300 mW and it fucking owns.

  • DONT UPLOAD VIDEOS ON THE SAME DAY AS HIS DEATH DUMBASS

  • so as long as we dont point them at cars or people or airplanes or any kind of vehicle anything else goes?

    that doesn't leave much

i was shining mine out my car window tonight before i found all these rules about pointers and some old guy started stalking me in his car when i finally stopped he came over and started raging on me for it and threatening to call the police

  • Australia laws suck hope my viper 55mw gets through

  • You can be seen with a 20mw at over 8 Miles. Did u know u can Modulate with a Laser and talk over the beam?? If anyone wanst to know more- message me- I have to go look for the link :)

  • I unno, i wouldn't say 5 miles :/

Realllyyyy doesn't look like 5 miles, maybe a mile

  • 1 mile?

  • i want a powerful one that can blind instantiously and target police helicoptors!! im gettin one!! awsome!!!

  • @DankHydroBudz Any one caught pointing lasers at aircraft is going to spend a loooooong time in jail.

  • @dragonlasersfanman lol caught is key..

  • @dragonlasersfanman yup and there are some funny videos of people doing it at one about a mile high.... COPs-- i wonder if he is gonna do it again......(laser).... ZOOM ZOOM ZOOM in camera... (perfect face shot).... COPS... yup got him,,,, busted...

  • @dragonlasersfanman

    then dont get caught

  • @dragonlasersfanman what if you have a laser in the plane and you point at people from the plane im gonna do that when i go on vavaction

  • @mudasssar

Have fun getting that past security.

  • @dragonlasersfanman how will they ever find out if u are standing 3-4 miles away

  • @TheTm0n Lasers leave trails.

  • @AtarahDerek yeah but not like forever they disappear as soon you turn of the laser

  • @TheTm0n Most people keep the laser pointed at or toward the aircraft long enough that authorities can pinpoint exactly where the beam originated.

  • @dragonlasersfanman $11000 fine and 10 years lol

  • @dragonlasersfanman Not if they dont catch u :3

  • @boyoboy10001 I dare you to shine it at any aircraft, civilian or military. I would rather rob a bank

  • @dragonlasersfanman and thats why you dont get caught

  • @dragonlasersfanman your exactly right bro a 16yr dude got arrested instantly after shining one into a baltimore police chopper the chopper actually followed were it was coming from and hovered in front of his house shining a bright ass 1mill candle power spotlight the house until authorities arrived

    @DankHydroBudz and

not to mention if you target police choppers you can actually cause them to crash which would be extremely fucked up and wrong grow up dude i hope you were joking

  • @gtothefinest Really? Please explain this logic. How the fuck does someone crash an aircraft because a laser was aimed at them? It's not like you're driving a car...where you take your eyes off the road and end up in a ditch...People are such safety faggots that they don't even bother to think. I would be surprised if even two aircraft have crashed due to a laser in the history of the world.

  • @munkyusm You mean, blinding the operators so they cant guide the plane in?

  • @WowMike2002 Right, please tell me how many times people have crashed and died in an airplane from a laser shined at them.

  • @munkyusm Luckily I didn't look into the laser. It is ILLEGAL to point a laser at an aircraft. Thankfully some idiots in the same location were arrested a week later for pointing a laser at a police helicopter. Please explain your logic? Are you a pilot? No.

  • @cfapilot So, you're a pilot...let's say a laser does temporarily blinds you...would you freak out and instantly nose dive your aircraft into the ground?

  • @munkyusm Have you ever been driving down the road at night when someone in the oncoming lane blasts you with the full power of his brights? You know that glow that lingers and obscures your vision sometimes for several minutes afterward, ruining your depth perception? That can cause you to miss other road hazards, which in turn can result in a wreck.

Most aircraft that encounter lasers are in the process of taking off or landing--very tricky, requiring full concentration and sight.

  • @munkyusm Fortunately a laser has not yet brought down an aircraft, but if you're on that craft, do you REALLY want to take that chance?

  • @AtarahDerek So, by your logic, like 150 million more people have died from car accidents, so we need to ban car travel. I'm just saying this whole knee jerk reaction to arrest kids for aiming lasers at aircraft and treat them like they're attempted murderers is nothing more than mass hysteria. Nobody's ever died from it, so maybe we ought to fucking chill. Furthermore, there's no proof that a quick flash of laser in the eye actually causes blindness. It would take much longer.

  • @munkyusm A slap on the wrist and a $10,000 fine is hardly an accusation of murder. However, aircraft have been diverted by lasers before. Police choppers in pursuit of a suspect (a real murder suspect) may lose that suspect because of such a diversion. Life flights that are diverted may lose their patient and not be able to revive them. A diversion of any aircraft is potentially more dangerous than swerving your car, and it certainly affects more people.

  • The point I was making was that lasers shining through a cockpit windshield can and do temporarily blind pilots, just as Joe Schmoe can blind you temporarily with his brights. In other words, you should be trying to see things from the pilots' perspective rather than spouting off your ignorant bigotry.

  • @AtarahDerek But there's a difference between flight and driving - If I'm temporarily blinded when I drive, I can veer off into a ditch. If I'm flying, and I'm temporarily blinded, I don't just freak out and nose dive my aircraft. No one's ever died from it, so just chill. It reminds me of the people who are worried about razor blades being in the kid's halloween candy. It's just mass hysteria. And "bigotry"? Wow, never been called a bigot for using reason instead of hysteria...

  • @munkyusm What's the difference, especially when you're on the approach to the runway?

The bigotry is apparent in your refusal to see things from a pilot's perspective. You think you know better than they do. You could at least TRY to empathize with them, but you refuse because such an action is obviously below you, oh wise and all-knowing one.

And you haven't responded to my diversion argument. You could still be responsible for the death of another if you point a laser at a helicopter.

  • @AtarahDerek I'm sorry, to me it's like empathizing with a parent freaking out about razor blades in their kid's halloween candy. Yes, if you want to worry about something that happens 1 in every 4 billion times, then go right ahead, but don't expect me to consider it a legitimate concern. It's like telling people that lock themselves in the house when it's cloudy outside because they're afraid of being struck by lightning...it's a sign of insanity.

  • @munkyusm Idiots with lasers are MUCH more common than sadists with razor blades. And they're MUCH more likely to distract pilots than they are to get struck by lightning. Criminals and nature tend to be unpredictable. Miscreants, not so much.

Another thing to note: Most people who point lasers at aircraft are teenage to college age boys. Of course they're liable to do stupid things. The only thinking they do is convince themselves they're invincible.

  • @AtarahDerek But the funny thing is MORE people have died from sadists with razor blades than idiots with lasers. What does that tell you?

  • @munkyusm So because malice appears (to you) to result in more injury or death than irresponsibility, it's okay to be irresponsible?

  • @AtarahDerek I'm done with this argument...you should just admit it's fucking gay to run around freaking out because people are shining lasers at airplanes. Nobody's died, and nobody's ever going to die from it. I've seen friends have a laser flashed directly in their eyes with no temporarily blindness or anything...I will admit they freaked out because they listened to the old wives' tale that lasers will cause blindness. You'd have to shine it directly in ur eye for 20 seconds to go blind.

  • @munkyusm If you shine a laser at an airplane cockpit, the ENTIRE cockpit lights up, blinding the pilot(s) inside and potentially endangering many human lives. Leave it to dumb kids to try and do something like that. Would you want to cause the death of a hundred people just because you're acting dumb and pointing a laser at an airplane of all things?

  • @munkyusm Dude, I'm not even going to waste my time arguing with you. You're an idiot and oblivious to possible risks. I don't see any reason why you would want to shine a laser at an aircraft in the first place.

  • @cfapilot The only reason I would shine a laser at an aircraft is because there's a stupid ass law saying I can't. Otherwise, I'd have no reason to.

  • @dragonlasersfanman Maybe if these weren't illegal then 9/11 wouldn't have happened...

    Was that to soon?

  • @TSwagzZ Somehow I doubt someone in the Twin Towers with a laser would have prevented the planes from hitting the buildings.

  • @dragonlasersfanman yea but it has to be done tho

  • @dragonlasersfanman Thats what spartan lasers are for

  • @dragonlasersfanman Well, a night or two anyway. But they will get slapped with a fine roughly equal to the tuition for one year at a four-year accredited college.

  • @DankHydroBudz Please don't point lasers at helicopters. It's dumbasses like you that ruin lasers for the rest of us.

  • @DankHydroBudz Lasers are not like shining a bright light in somebody's eyes. The " blinding " from lasers is PERMANENT damage. At the very least, you should be ready for a massive lawsuit and/or jail time.

  • Comment removed

  • @DankHydroBudz gonna join in

  • @DankHydroBudz you just admitted that if you get one your gunna commit a federal crime... you can spend 1 - 10 years in prision..... have a good time getting buttfucked by a guy 5 times ur size!

  • @DankHydroBudz should need to blind the hungry when they try to rape you in jail

  • @DankHydroBudz last guy that did that got 20 years in jail.

  • @DankHydroBudz are you fucking stupid?

  • @DankHydroBudz hah ive done that before. i heard recently they have been catching people doing it now a lot more then before. xD

  • @DankHydroBudz dude, if you did that the FBI will be after you, its illegal nationaly!

  • @DankHydroBudz Yah I wouldn't tell people that you dumbass lol

  • you can see pretty dim streetlights 5 miles away - really not very hard to believe 5 miles couldnt be easily doable.

  • Laser pointers are boring. Laser Projectors on the other hand, worth every penny.

  • This is NOT fake! even my tiny 3mW green laser makes over 1km easy! In about 2 days i'm going to get a new 50mW green laser, YAYY! :D \o/

  • nice

  • more like 5 km

  • real and awesome :D

  • dude u can go blind from those they can burn through plastic in seconds so think of wat it cud do to ur eye

  • NOT 5 MILES NOOOOOBBB

  • @999Lucki They actually got onto google map and checked the distance between the person holding the laser and the person taking this video.

It was over 5 iles NOOOBBBB

  • @dragonlasersfanman i call bullshit u belive anything on you tube you can make out the figure in the video tard

  • @dragonlasersfanman When you look up the distance on google maps, it is telling you the distance between the two points when traveling on roads. Since the laser does not travel on roads, it goes in a straight line, 5 miles would not be an accurate measurement

  • fake it is not 5 miles

  • @tictac789123 (sigh) do you know what the range of a high power laser is?

  • @dragonlasersfanman i'm curious what is the range?

  • @bitetyson According to the makers of this video, using google earth they calculated the range to be 5 miles.

  • @dragonlasersfanman is that the max range?

  • @bitetyson probably, would depend on conditions.

  • @tictac789123 does it matter? you'd see the same effect at 50 miles. never mind 5. these things CAN disrupt pilots. dont do that shyt... nice demonstration boys.

  • @tictac789123 yes it is dumbshit do your research

  • how and where from can i get above 100 mW

  • @Mr30630479 You can get lasers with powers ranging from 15mW to over 1000mW at Dragonlasers w w w dragonlasers com

  • @dragonlasersfanman yea but the us air mail might check it and compassionate it

  • where do i get a laser like that?

  • @kstanneart From Dragonlasers at w w w dragonlasers com

  • I am pranking a friend! Please send him a random Text! 423 645 3156

  • how much waz it

  • this sucks

  • What i should do? My friend has 500mW laser? =o

  • You need to watch where you point these things! I am a pilot who flies small planes. I was flying at 5,000 feet tonight and someone had one of theses and pointed it at my plane. It nearly blinded me and my passengers. Glad it didn't unless we would have crashed. Just be careful and mindful. Thanks.

  • @cfapilot Excellent point.

  • @cfapilot thats actually a felony. AND PEOPLE DON'T DO STUPID SHIT LIKE THIS. IT AFFECTS ALL OF US LASER ENTHUSIASTS.

  • @iPlaymeta1 Laser enthusiasts?

laser is actually a hobby????? that is funny hahahahahha

  • @Tensei85 of course there are laser enthusiasts, I for one found myself extremely motivated when I used a 14.377 watt Acurrane burst laser to accidently sizzle off your mothers dimply left nipple

  • @cfapilot I'm sure that person was doing it intentionally. It is a federal offense to shine a laser at an aircraft but that's what happens when jackasses get one.

  • i dont point at anything under 10 000ft, i have my 1.1 watt laser mounted to a 60x spotting scope.i can target a plane coming from miles away, its fucking awesome its like a death ray

  • @ninja6kid ".i can target a plane coming from miles away, its fucking awesome"

    And you're a fucking retard

  • why is that???

  • @ninja6kid

umm cos of what you claim to do?! true or not.. retard

  • why is it retarded, its fun

  • @cfapilot Small plane.... are you talking about the video of the plane in ocean city?

  • @cfapilot Rrrright, because flying an airplane is like driving a car...you take your eyes off the sky and BOOM, you find yourself on fire in a ditch. People like you are such fags.

  • @munkyusm You obviously don't understand aviation safety. As general aviation pilots, we usually don't have autopilot equipped in our planes, or if we do we usually don't have engaged. If I were to have been blinded for even 5 minutes, I would get vertigo not having any visual reference or instrument reference to my altitude/direction/pitch. I could easily stall the plane, end up in a spin, or lose control of the aircraft. My two passengers lost their vision for a few minutes that night.

  • I sell laser red!

Ragazzi vendo laser rosso da 200 mw, ultrapotente e squaglia..

  • violet is like an nuke

  • Is violet better than green?

  • @metallica250000 For beam visibility and range it is much worse than green, red and even blue.

  • @dragonlasersfanman

    oh yeah

  • how far in the dark come a 5 mw green laser? whit new batteris

  • @zonnesneeuw I'd say a 5mW laser will not go further than one mile

  • @zonnesneeuw Mine hits the mountain 5 miles away from my house so i guess it"ll go the same distance! lol

  • holy shit thats cool

  • at wicked lasers they say between 95 and 150 mw it goes 50 miles and 200 and 500 mw 100 miles but it probaly not true

  • Ranges like those are pure marketing and not reality.

The beam of a good laser will widen at a rate of 1mm for every meter in range.

So at 50 kilometers, the beam will be 50 meters wide. Add the effect of pollution, humidity etc and the laser will not be visible.

  • @dragonlasersfanman yeah i did it in my basement which is around 10 meters. it was a pretty cool result shining it around 2:00 AM. the light was as wide as the wall! :o

  • that's very expensive

  • i think in other countrys there trying to ban them

  • @06Robby The FDA banned sales of lasers outputting >5mW but like usual it never really did anything except stop a few people paying through paypal and it was a waste of taxpayers money. You can still get fined if the popo's catch you shining it around, if they care in the first place.

  • it pays 1000 dollars

  • No No No This laser cost $480

  • how can i buy this laser out of the inthernet??

  • The only way to buy this laser or lasers like it is on the internet

ie Dragonlasers at w w w dragonlasers com

  • how far does the viper 95 mw go?

  • Normally has a range of at least 3-4 kilometers

  • thanks

  • not bad for 175mw laser pointer!

  • How do you find out if these lasers are legal or not ... in the country you live in =P?

  • About the only country they are illegal in is Australia

  • '...across the - ouch!'

    HAHA

    Nice vid though

  • yesterday It was the first time the cops searched for me after seeing my laser beam from my 175mW hulk x) but in sweden there's no direct law to these lasers. I think they just was curious :P

  • haha they just wanted to play with your cool laser

  • @IAA015 man måste ha tillstånd från strålkastmyndigheten för att använda en laserpekare över 5mW i Sverige :)

  • @Kazom1337 aa o den tillkom rätt nydligen, inte när jag skaffade min;)

  • @IAA015 Trust me, you will be lectured if not even get a felony.. I'm swedish too ,and know someone that got busted for blinding ppl with his.

  • @weeruz Yes a real law for the lasers came out after that happen...

  • @IAA015 det är lag på det nu (: Gröna lasrar är olagliga sedan typ.. vet inte men dom är det nu iaf :D

  • @lakostal Bara de som är starkare än 5mw

  • @IAA015 just wait untill u run into that fucked up former special ops cop n flash him in the face.. his general reaction may kill you.

  • @IAA015 Well i live in Sweden and it's sure a law that u can't have a laser over 5mW.

Det är ju så jävla kul o lysa ut på folk XD dom bara '' WTF????''

  • Cool vid

  • that is fuckin insane

  • you should have seen it in real life

    Oo

    -----

  • I'm gonna buy a hulk ultra 250mW ;)

  • is it legal? XD

  • These lasers are legal in Italy and most other countries.

  • And AUSTRALIA! nooo

  • Will i have any trouble (customs etc.) buying a 95mW or a 125mW Viper in the UK

  • I would also have liked to see what the laser looked like from the other persons point of view

  • lol nice
