@kemando12 Absolutely! Right now STL is having a special, you can get the ocarina, a basic instruction book, the Legend of Zelda songbook (with over 30 songs) and a soft case for $85USD. Shipping is free!

I just got my ocarina yesterday, it is a greater starter instrument. It has a solid weight to it, and looks lovely. I was able to pick up a song within a couple of hours using visual tabs (usually ocarina songs are done in numeric tabs which I am still learning to read.)

@1beastydemon No it doesn't have to be played on a 12 hole. Honestly, you may have to improvise a bit, but it can be played damn well close on any number of holes. I have a 7 hole replica from Zelda that I adore. I have heard it done on a 4 hole as well. Not a 6, but I am sure it can be done. You may want to invest in a ceramic one, however.
