Actually, Velociprey are the only monsters to actively attack another monster, which is the Rathian. ONLY. Why? Watch Rathian Ecology, though why Melynx don't actively attack Daimyo Hermitaurs is beyond me.

Dude there was one time I did the 2* Rathian Guild quest, and I got her down to near death and she tried to run and a Velociprey pounced on her and killed her haha. It was hilarious. Too bad I dont have Remote Joy. (6.0 firmware :o)

I've had a Rathalos kill a Velocidrome for me lol, it appeared on the Redux quest so I just ran near the Drome the rolled out the way. In the minute left I managed to paralyze the Los.

best thing i've seen so far 2 is that i was killing a G-class kirin with my mate in snowy mountains, it was in area 7 but went to 6. a;; the anteka were charging out the area as the kirin was charging for me. in the end i moved out the way, they both hit each other. and kirin died :O. the screenshot was so funny

I've had a celphalos break a Diablo's horn before. It was so hilarious, I was about to go for the head shot when, from off screen, a sand blast hits the Diablo square in the head, breaking the horn. It was hilarious.

I like it when other monsters target you but end up hitting your target instead. I was low on health and I'm like "oh just kill me already" because the Congas were being asses and attacking me while I tried to attack the already weak Kut-Ku, then one tried to fart on me but got the Blue Kut-Ku instead, then it died, I was like LOL haha serves you freaking right.

Hope they do that when I fight a Rathian ^_^

The reason why the velociprey at the rathian is because if you see "rathian ecology" it shows a rathian killing a velociprey to feed her babies. This is why they attack her, for revenge of their fallen friend

the velocipreys are attacking to rathian to wake it up. you are in area 5 of forest and hills, that's rathian sleeping spot. once the velocipreys see you enter that area while rath sleeps, they'll try to wake it up. spoiling your free 300% percent and spare time to prepare.

The velociprey species will attack the wyvern before attacking the player. As a matter of fact if you capture a wyvern its quite amusing to watch them try to attack the wyvern even after its immune to damage.

1)It might be waking up the Rathian.

now i remember another dilema nearly kill G-rank rathalos but scales and carapaces i was nearly dead it was nearly dead but i was trying not to get what so ever i was 1-shot material with nearly no hp or continues then a shakalaka hit/killed me then kill the rathalos right afterwards....didnt count as a win since i died first

The thing I love about this game is how realistic it is, the Velociprey attack Rathian because it is in their temporary "Nest" and she is the biggest threat

Because I was kiling the Kut ku, and it tried to sleep in its area so I hit it, it flew away to another area and when it landed it said "Quest Cleared!" "All Requested Monsters Slain" Turn out the Velociprey had killed it while I was 3 areas away, so I got no carves off of him -_-
