I've been here personally many many times. The hill looks wayyyy steeper in real life. It's down in grand junction. I live probably an hour away from this place and i go riding there all the time. It's a great experience

Skinny Ridge will define the newbie from a skilled rider. There are lines that are damn near vertical. I have been to the top of the bowl on Raptor and if you don't get on the brakes immediately at the peak you will be out of control on the way down. Most people don't go the last ten or so feet from the top of the bowl to the peak. I am a skilled rider of 20+ years and I have not gone over the top on Skinny ridge.

i love comin up here...my dad(in 07) on his crf450 it was muddy and he went on the left side were there use to be a vert but it was dif. it wasnt 90 degrees mor like 95 degrees so as he goes up he noticed it was gonna flip him backwards. as hes on it he plowed his bars in the mud so that the bike would not slide down..about 30 mins later he got it done..not a sratch just new grips
