Up until about a month ago, ATI had the most powerful graphics card in the world!! The HD 4890 is very affordable and still competes with some of the highest end nVidia cards. Just like some other cards just as the HD 4850, 70 and 30 and HD 4770. They are all very cheap, but very powerful.

What's that? 4890 gets 41FPS avg. in crysis, with high settings, 2xAA and resolution set to 1680x1050?

I recomand you to buy Intel's quadcore, they are way better then phenom(first of all intel quadcore have above 8Mb cache and AMD's phenom has under 4Mb)I don't know how easy it is to overclock an amd cpu but i overclocked my intel quadcore from 2,4 to 3,06 without any problems or dificulties and it seems ti like it this way because it is very stable.Onother thing is that phenom are a power vacum, it needs around 140W so u got to have a pretty damn good PSU.
