FYI - Those "HD" lenses you mention are more commonly known as "free-form" and it is a machining method that can open up that field of vision for you. For example, reading a monitor for me requires head rotation with progressives, but less with free-form progressives. Trouble is finding them.
The progressive lenses I got from Costco were very different and inferior to those I got from the optical shop at my doctor's office in NorCal. The Costco lenses have much smaller areas to see through in each of the three strips/lines across the lens - one for far, one for middle and one for reading.
The reading areas are tiny spots. My previous lenses had much larger areas. I would not recommend Costco progressives unless you really can't afford the more expensive ones. Inferior, but cheap.
@Calikokatpiano2 Yeah they are still expensive but they are far less than their nearest competitor. We got off easy for so long before we needed bifocals, huh... :)
Those glasses look nice! Your eyes look a lot smaller in them!! Of course if you are in the sun- no one can see your eyes anyway! I like how you blurred your house number. Like someone is watching this going- hmmmmmm.....He looks like a guy I'd like to rob!! "I'm gonna break in and steal that Pilsbury Dough Boy shirt!" Then, it looks like you didn't even lock the door! No wonder you blurred the number. I hear you got annoying neighbor dogs too!!
@thesockdock I agree, my eyes always look smaller in glasses though because my eyelids kind of do what my dad's do and sag. Contacts round my eyes out a bit and keep my eyelids from drooping too much. Well, you never know, the vid does open up with me standing in front of a row of geetars :) Yeah virtually every house has dogs, and most of them (including my silly pugs) will rush the fences, snarling and barking. Life in the city, y'know.

All progressive lenses have those marks, that helps measure if they were put in the correct spot and tells your reading power.
