I disagree! The original score for requiem for a dream is way better than this lotr remix, the only thing about the original is that it's so damn short. But don't get me wrong, i still think that this remix is very very good, it just gets very mushy in a few places!

Lux Aeterna and Requiem for a Dream, among others, sound very similar, maybe even having some of the same pieces of music in each. You could be right - though it's entirely possible that you mistook it as well.

I poked around on iTunes for the soundtrack, which has them both. They do sound similar but I highly doubt they'd put the same song in there twice with a different title. They have a few different pieces in them though sitting here and describing the differences would take a long time and be kind of pointless really, haha. Oh well, long as we have the movie right, doesn't really matter what song it is. =p

I mean, because it's the main theme song for the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, so it still woud've been cool to see evrything from the films, in a music video with the theme playing, like certain cool scenes that would go good with the music- like the sequence when the trolls, wargs, easterlings, and orcs all pour through the courtyard of Gondor when Grond breaches the gates- dunedain rangers attacking the mumakil and haradrim, watcher in water scene- it would've been cool- HUGE lotr fan...

I have to agree, it was an amazing video, but it should've been ended differently, maybe with the Gryphons attacking the long-necked dragons from the end. That, I thought, was one of the most empowering, epic, and "In yo face, evil" moments of the movie.
