  • Today: exam :X Thank you :D

  • Greetings from German Moka-Do :) I've got the blue-red belt and learn 6th and 7th Poomsae right now.

I just looooooooove Chil Jang! ;))

  • To all you non taekwondo ppl WTF means world taekwondo federation.

  • Tottaly cool but im brown and we have to do it but my teacher said i skipped four steps like this

  • crappy sound effects

  • taekwon do is badddasssss! comp forms annd comp sparring is the best!

  • I just turned Red Belt and its so hard!!!!!!!!!!!

    thumbs up if you agree

  • @Thebeyblader345 youll get the hang of it! but just wait until you reach the belt just before black (at my school it is red on top black on bottom, known as BoDan) and you must remember all of the forms! But dont go solely on this, every school teaches it differently and the chances are slim that yours teaches it just like this; i havent seen any form on here done exactly like we do it at my school, NEMAA

  • really glad this is there... goin bak to tkd and need to relearn up to 2nd poom :p

so much easier than reading it

  • Thanks for this... it could help me to get my Poomsae belt

  • today i got to 3 cup and i am going to start learing chill jang as fast as i can because i think it is one of the best

  • You guys are retarded. Just learn and from the video and move on.

  • omigawd provincial championships this wekkend. MUSTT... PREPARE....

  • they are all simple, if you know the basics:)

  • This is the pattern I am best at! I love this pattern!

  • hai all.. i think martial art teach us how to be a kind and humble person. because every movement in martial arts has their own philosophy. and if u had learn martial art, no matter what kind is, u absolutly knew how to respect each other (taekwondoin, karateka, ert). and if u haven't, u have to try learn martial art to knowing the meaning behind a single movement. :)

  • TKD FOR THE WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:)

  • :P

  • I practice also WTF Taekwondo (actually Kukkiwon Taekwondo ). After the Momtong-Hechomakki was done, you DEFINITELY have your hands to open, before the Mureupchigi.

I refer to the relevant literature (recommended by WTF and Kukkiwon) "The Explanation of Official Taekwondo Poomsae" by Ikpil Kang on page 102 and 103. In the videos of international Poomsae Championships, you can watch it too. I suspect, the form shown here is outdated.

  • The Scissor block is easy!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I do taekwondo I am on yuk jang and I know this one. The first movement is wrong

  • Thanks a lot for making/uploading all these video's, they have really helped me and are still helping me :)

  • At minute 0:36 and 0:41, he would have had to open his hands. He did not. That were deduction-points.

  • @Mitch40210 I dunno where you're from but in the WTF, we don't open our hands. Although i'll admit, his low and middle guard starts differently from ours.

  • @Programer2002 december :)

  • I am so great full for these because my daughter is getting ready to take her black belt test and it has been a while since she has done all of her forms so they are a great refresher!! Thanks so much.

  • i just learned this poomsae 2 days ago n im still kinda confused about the scissor block

    @ 0:32

    gahhh!! i must learn!!!

  • i kno this pattern and im only yellow belt

  • This is the form I am on now but his Hand actions are not very clear..... Cause I have to learn it step by step

  • very nice. good gi snap. crisp form. cool.

  • I really appreciate this series, it helps me learn this quite a lot. I am dyslexic and really want to master these forms.

  • thank u so much for uploading!! now i can easily turn black!! and also tageuk 6..!!

  • sound effect not in tandem with moves

    good gawd

have test for black belt in july

    Cram!!!!!

  • the sound effect WTF!!!!

  • its the snap of his gi nothing more.

  • Black belt canidte test tommorow!:D

  • omg, i need to memorize all of them becoz im gonna hv my test for black belt nexy week..help mee!!!!!!!

  • well then good luck for tomorrow then i suppose :) relax, u're gonna do it!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • your not rdy if ur not rdy now

  • you dont know them? If you are ready to test how could you NOT have the memorized by now?

  • @philosophygirl03 i have to memorize all Poomsaes and one step sparring and hapkido and block punch and kick and by june from white to adv red my Poomsae is Pal Jang what skool do u go to are you in the ko am mu do fedoration

  • Awesome ! video

  • -.-.....oh,please,steve,what r u playing at????

  • This form was not done for competitive use, just to show students how poomsae is done.

and i am sure the speed was done one purpose, so we can follow it easier.

AND you shouldn´t say he is bad, cause he is a Grandmaster (7th DAN) ,so someone all martial artist should respect, wether you do taekwondo or karate or anything else^^

  • and for you to see this go cheack some world turnaments of taekwondo poomsae and karate kata and compare.

the teckinkes are almost the same so it is easy to compare.

cheack this katas: sochin, gankaku, gojushiho sho, unsu. you will see what i mean.. ;)

i am going to compete in poomsae this next year and i tell you i am gonna kill it xD

  • man i get your point.. and i didnt say that tdk is a bad martial art or anything like that.. i am just saying and if you searched for the videos i told you you got to admit that in terms of form and tecknike karate is way better.. i am not saying that every karate guy is better than a tdk pratician.. NO!!

but in karate we take more atencion to little details that in tdk may not have that kind of atention.

as i told you i spent weeks training just the same tecnike

man but it is just my opinion

  • in karate we have this thing called "kime"

this means that in every tecknike we instantanely contract every muscle in our body at for example the moment of impact of a punch. this makes us more stable in that moment, much more powerfull cuz you are using every muscle in your body. and this visualy gives a plesurable image of the karate pratician. in my opinion while doing forms this is what karate has more that tdk.. hum also the ritm of the katas are very diferent than the poomsae

  • @TKDEsra you are goat

  • @TKDEsra I know almost nothing about Tae Kwon Do, but even I can tell that this master is excellent with these forms.

  • @TKDEsra good coment!!!!

  • yeaaaaah right bodiie i think you cant even had a match with this master and the poomses are to be fast evere poomse has a especific time to do it and this person its A MASTER WHAT ARE YOU HA ¡

  • man grow up you dunno what you are talking about!!

  • its girl and i know what im talking about and im black belt 3 Dan not stupid karateca

  • lol yeah i bet you are as good as this sucky master doing poomses

  • its not about speed its about technique, precision and strength

  • @xxsteve0xx1 every poomse has a determined time

  • @xxsteve0xx1 patterns are supposed to be done slowly. and you're from karate, so you're opinion doesn't count.

  • @scratchedscreen

No there not, what about sequences?

  • @xxsteve0xx1 ahhhhahhah its not about speed or str its abount precision

  • lol, at our dojang in belgium, we keep it simple in belts: White, Yellow, Yellow 1 stripe, yellow 2 stripes, blue, blue 1 stripe, blue 2 stripes, red, red 1 stripe, red 2 stripes, red three stripes and Black, respectively being no kup, 9th kup, 8th kup, 7th kup, 6th kup, etc..

the red with trhee stripes is the dan boo.

  • Ours is very similar. We have White, Yellow 1, 2, 3, then Blue I, 2, 3, and then Red 1, 2, 3. Red with a black stripe is the same as your Red with 3 stripes.

  • it's cool that all the schools have different belts and colors. ours is white, yellow, orange, green, light blue, dark blue, brown, red, black, et cetera. i think it's the most up to date for world taekwondo federation.

  • My school is white,yellow,yellow-green,green,green-blue,blue,blue-red,red,red-black,black

  • BLANCO,AMARILLO,NARANJA,VERDE, AZUL,MARRON,NEGRO 1º Dan,2º Dan...

    WHITE,YELLOW,ORANGE,GREN,BLUE, BROWN, BLACK

  • My dojang goes: White Yellow Yellow/Black Orange Orange/Black Green Green/Black Blue Blue/Black Red Red/Black First dan/first poom black belt
  • Mine too!!! We must go to the same one : )

  • Hey~! Cody!!! =P

  • i know the korean words for all those moves, my dojo teaches the korean language its actually really fun, like that knife hand block in the tiger stance is hansonal moumtom makki and tiger stance is beom sahgi

  • Then they should teach, that it's dojang in korea and taekwondo, not dojo. ;) Dojo is japanese term for training grounds.

  • I knew that, it was a typo sort of thing. :D

  • my school is white, yellow, orange, green, blue, blue 2, red, red 2, red 3 black black 1. Dan black 2. Dan black 3. Dan black 4. Dan black 5. Dan black 6. Dan black 7. Dan black 8. Dan black 9. Dan
  • White, yellow, orange, green, blue, purple, red, brown, red black, red yellow black, black

  • my school is:

white, yellow, orange, green, blue, blue 1, purple, purple 1, purple 2, red, red 1, red 2, red 3, pre-black, NIGGER BLACK

  • my schools is white yellow orange green blue purple brown red red-black black-red BLACK
  • Is There A Difference Between Red Black And Black Red???

  • If you think about it and technically speaking, yes. If your belt is red/black, then there is more red than black. If it is black-red, there is more black than red. It is quite strange, in my opinion

  • Hmmmmmmmm Interesting.....

Mine Is White...Yellow-White.....Yellow....Green-White.....Green...Blue-White...Blue.....Red-White...Red...Red-Black....Black 1st Dan (etc.

  • ours is white, yellow, orange, green, blue, purple, brown, red, black. the Tournament divisions.

  • our belts goes white yello orange reen blue purple brown red red

  • ours goes, white, whiteorange, white yellow, yellow, whitegreen, greeen, greenblue, whiteblue, blue, bluered, whitered, red, redblack, poom (half black and red), then blackbelt . :] yea .

  • hmm

mines white, white-green, green, green-blue, blue, blue-red, red, red-black, then black.

    well depends on the dojang

  • im in blue belt in taekwondo and i think it isnt that much. its easy to get and in our club belt colors go white, white+yellow, yellow ,yellow+green, green, green+blue, blue, blue+red, red, red+black and black

  • Where I go its so much harder! It goes, White, Yellow, Purple, Orange, Green green+black, Blue, blue+black, Brown, brown+black, Red, red+black, danbo (half red half black), then black. I`m on red right now in this is the poomse we`re doing, it seems so hard!

  • all of them seem hard but its actually really easy

  • isn't orange before purple?

  • Not where I go to

  • Yep, that would be the real standard for belts in tkd. The traditional colors chosen by the general himself i believe. Any school that has more colors is really just out to make more money, greedy bastards xD.

  • totally agree

  • at our club we were taught to do cat stances

  • Im sorry but what you said might be confusing to some people so I wanted to say.:

It goes white, yellow, green, blue, red, Cho dan bo(which is half red/half black on adults and split between red and black all the way around on kids), then Black. and in between each belt level there is a stripe on the belt. For ex. between white and yellow, there is a white belt with a yellow stripe which suggest a high white belt. and after a yellow belt, a yellow belt with a green stripe, ect.

  • our club goes white, orange, green, ble recomended, then black

yeaah aparently a lil different then some places

  • very xD, all I know is that we adhere to the ITA's standards of belt ranks.

  • im tring to learn this..

im getting ready for my black belt evn though i need two more semesters before im ready to take the test.

  • I'm sorry but, shouldn't you already know this form as well as Pal-Jang before getting ready for your black belt?

  • The correct stance is a tiger stance, which I guess in som schools MIGHT be called a cat stance. But, Im fairly sure its a tiger stance.

  • your right its tiger stance

  • you retards 35-45 is is double high block, Knee attack, kidney punch, cross lowblock

  • hecho monton maki, knee, double upper cut, cross lowblock dumb fuck

  • 35 to 45 is basicly for people that dont know ...

#1 person grabs you by the shoulders

    #2 you break free

    #3 you grab his shoulders

    #4 you knee him

#5 you drive your fists into his stomach

hope this helped some trainers or students

    ____________________

    taekwondo trainer

  • as far as I know #3 is grabbing his head and not his shoulder

  • Comment removed

  • @TKDEsra do u do taekwondo??

  • @SSJKenpachiZaraki yes, for more then 7 years ;)

  • @TKDEsra

Im pretty sure #3 is grabbing his shoulders, my sabumnim recently showed this in an application. (new style)

  • @TKDEsra

OMG REally WHAT Age did u start ????

    ;)

  • OMG REally ,WHAT Age did u start ????

    ;)

  • @TKDEsra I believe that #3 it the shoulders because the Korean terminology refers to the middle section of the body.

  • ati choy

  • thats my form

    [;

  • I have to do IL-Pal jang on my forms for my Black belt testing in March =/

  • wow my redu belt form

  • lol

  • 아 나도 옛날에 태권도 했는데..후..

  • +61418870816 ring me for lessons

  • are there any striking based martial arts besides kickboxing and muay thai that do not require you to memorize a set pattern of a particular poomsee?...i mean like,is there any where you can create you're own poomsee or kata and be judged by means of you're own individualized proficiency in you're demonstration routine?...i feel that they should have this as an alternative option to perhaps an alternate affiliate sect of karate or tkd.i would get SO much further with this type of option.

  • the snap is added in so when you're using this video, you know when to put in more power and emphasis. idiot. no shit that it's added in.

it's not our problem that you're one of the dumb people that get sucked into those shitty mcdojos in america. =P

  • hmmmm. and what mcdojo do you go to that a sinsei would allow you to develope a crummy attitude like that? The snap is simply the sound of his gi. btw. if you are goikng to have an attifude like that martial arts is not the way for you. try.... back robber or thug. cause thats what your acting like.

  • @halodaemon You've obviously never seen someone perform their Taeguks at a black-belt level. That snap is from the Doebuck cloth, indicative of how the strike are done, i.e. relaxed until the moment of contact, then rigid. The sounds may be exaggerated or amplified in these videos, but it's there.

  • @CapnRis Funnily enough, I'm 1st dan. Anyway, you don't sound very knowledgeable yourself - it's taegeuk, and dobok. Furthermore, I didn't say snaps didn't exist - I was referring only to the sounds in THIS video when I posted that comment.

  • Not a good comment on a TKD video TKD is truth not lies

  • Try Whu Tsu(hope I spell it right). And other one is called "Creative Poomse" in TKD.

  • i dont think they have a progrm or martial art where you can make that stuff up .But what I do suggest is maybe start your own martail art just b/c its new doesnt mean ppl wont join.

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH! haha i'm having my exam tomorrow and I don't remember this taegeuk.

  • thanks 4 uploading. I need this for taekwondo in an hour! i am a blue belt, going for red stripe in a few weeks...

  • coochi6.when i was in tkd,it went white, yellow, orange, green, blue, purple,re,ligh brown, dark brown, half red/half black, and then Black, and then 2nd degree/dan which qualified one to be an instructor.the half red/half black meant that you were at the "qualify for black belt" rank.i went for a year and a half and i missed most of my belt testings because of money issues.i mainly went to tkd for the fun and fitness aspect of it rather than to simply become a black belt.poomsee forms are vexing.

  • im a 3rd dan black belt and im ready for the

4th dan poomse (bring it on) i learnt it scince i was a black belt

  • very good

  • its not supposed to show power. you relax and get focus during that move. preparation for that crazy move

  • this helps sooo much!

btw. the slow part is breathing break so really there isn't much power to be shown. but i kinda know what you mean.

  • the slow part dont show any power though

  • its ment to be like that smart ass

  • salut
