  • Great video,I adive however in focusing in one chakra at a time from the bottom up,do it in order as you open your chakras one by one,it takes time,but if you're actually into this kind of thing,that's how you should do it.

    Also,the chakra rotation should be done like you were inside of a cilinder,do not spin the chakra like it was a vortex in your belly for example,that's not safe sometimes. Do it like it was a cilinder with the different chakra collors,and spin them one by one.

  • I've been doing the Ohm chants for 6 months straight now. I meditate and have meditated off and on for years, nothing. I get a sense of peace when meditating but it has no effect on my regular life. Life still sucks, always has, probably always will. What a waste of time, God(?) Must not like me much!

  • @gtr362 It happens to many of us but i will advice not to leave it.

    When we are under deep mediation we feel energetic and have control on our self but when we open our eyes we are back to this material world and negative thoughts keep coming in our mind.

    Continue with ur mediation try to live as much as u can in present.

    Keep ur self busy to stop all incoming negative thoughts.

    Always think positive.

    Try some yoga and yogic breathing also.

It's a simple but very effective Meditations. *Within few minutes You can go in deep mediation and your body will still down and you will feel the pleasure of 'Meditations' if you follow the simple steps below no GURU is needed for this simple technique don't fear about anything while in deep meditations no one ever died doing meditations just don't try to sleep :
  • **PREPARING FOR MEDITATIONS:

    Sit erect either on Chair, in Lotus Pose (Padmasana),

    Thunderbolt Pose (Vajraasna) or in Shav Asan

    (Lying in bed or floor like a dead body).

    Keep all thoughts away.

    (you can also play an audio of your choice in loop mode before

    if you can't stop incoming thoughts)

    Keep your eyes completely closed don't try to sleep when you

    do meditation this the time to explore your inner-self.

  • 1. Say short 'OOO' and long 'mmmmmmmmmmmm'

    the 'OM' mantra till you breathe out completely.

    (or "HHHmmmmmmmmmm" like a Bee it has the nice effect)

    the whole body vibrates and u can feel the diff.

    2. Then stop and (breathe normally) you will notice that you

    don't need much of breathing in and out and your body is

    becoming still and still as the time passes, maintain this

    position for few minutes.

  • 3. This is the time to explore your inner-self try to still down

    your body as much as you can being fully aware of yourself.

    You will feel the pleasure of 'Meditations' and you will not like

    to come out of this inner happiness you are feeling.

    You can also have out of body experience here in this stage

    don't fear just keep it up.

  • NOTES:

    Respiration (breathing in and out) should be so slow and subtle

    that you yourself also may not be aware of its sound, even if a

    piece of cotton is placed in front of the nostril it should not move

    by the effect of the air exhaled out.

    This way the Sadhaka can attain the joyful stage of Samadhi

    (Superconsciousness )by going through the various visualizations

    of god and supreme powers.

    In samadhi (Super consciousness )our personal identities completely disappear.

  • i dont know if it is strange or not... i find music like this to be very relaxing to me and i kinda go into a sort of daze /meditation. the problem is its hard to find music like this that does it for me... im always on the hunt for those special songs. Im glad this one could help me thanks to you

  • i did 3 hours meditation and forgot to do my homework for school, guess what the teacher was absent and the homework got delayed, just to tell u guys, you always have time for meditation, even if u dont , god gives u the time

  • M E D I T A T I O N Based on my practical experience. Meditation is easy do it any where any time just sitting in front of ur computer. Just close ur eyes and watch ur natural breathing (Incoming and outgoing breath) dont force. Play an audio of ur choice to stop all incoming thoughts it will definitely help. Visualize any part/point of ur body u want to heal and give it command to heal it will speed up ur healing process. This will help heal and rejuvenate the injured tissues.
  • After one hour of deep meditation lying on bed i always experienced going out of my body and my whole body use to tremble (shaken) with pleasure and i knew what was going on and enjoyed it without any fear, this happens after one hr. Each one of us have own Different experience but don't loose ur heart and leave meditation. Meditation may also cause the head to rock or the body to tremble, these are signs of progress.
  • Dont' get panic or fear in deep meditation nothing will go wrong no one ever died doing meditation. If excess energy builds up during meditation just ground it by touching ur forehead or ur hand in ground there is nothing to fear. Excess energy builds up when u do meditation while sitting or lying on woolen blanket or plastic sheet and u wear shoes with plastic sole ,ur body is electrically charged. U should ground that energy by touching the ground with ur feet or forehead. TIKtam

  • pronunciation and accent differ from country to country and there r more than 28states in india some chant as 'om' some say 'aum'.And in south india some say "Ahhh" As you close your mouth, it becomes more of an "Oooh" and as the mouth is closed, "Mmmm" is the sound.

  • Always remember the correct word is 'OM ' as chanted in this video and not 'AUM' OR not 1st aaauuummmmmmm. No indian will chant 'aum' it's actually chanted as 'OOOOOOOOOmmmmmmmmmmmmmm'

  • This isn't really the proper way to pronounce "Om"..

    Its really more of a 3 part, "Ahhhhh" "Oooooh" & "Mmmmmmm".

    You should feel the "Ahhhhh" in your lower diaphragm, the "Oooooooh" in your throat, & the "Mmmmmm" right up in your nose/mouth area.

    "Om" (when used as a mantra) should not be this active... It should be allowed to vibrate through the body, almost as if it were a pre-existing sound. This sounds too much like actively pronouncing it.

    I'm just going to reply once & say that I've been heard that method of chanting "Om" from several places... The explanation I was given is that the first part, "Aaaa" which resonates in the diaphragm area is vibrating that chakra, "Ooo" the chakra near the throat" and "Mmmm" the chakra near where you feel that.

    Also, the way I was taught you basically just do open your mouth & allow the sound to come out.

    When you just open your mouth the sound is "Ahhh". As you close your mouth, it becomes more of an "Oooh" and as the mouth is closed, "Mmmm" is the sound.

    The only way to make "Ooooooohmmmmmmmmm" is to actively move the face & the mouth, and actively SAY the sound, rather than it just sort of flowing out.

    You're the first source I've encountered that said anything different.

    Also, when part of a name, or longer mantra, its indeed just said as "Om" -- Like "Om Namah Shivaya" etc.

  • I learned the pronunciation I said from a yoga teacher who studied from a guy from India... I don't know his name unfortunately (and it was not BKS Iyengar, I know that much)

  • pronunciation differs the guy must be from south india and i m from north india so there is vast diff of accent, India has 28 states !
