I miss WGI from the 80's and 90's. Show designers used to actually do just that: design shows. Now most groups just let the music "design" the themes for them. Ocassionally you'll see a few exceptions mixed in with the pack, but not in most cases.

this show is just amazing... i can't believe how complex the design is! their director is a genius!
and yeah, this show isn't as "FIERCE" as Logan has been in the past, but they're on a whole new level now. i can't wait to see what they bring in 2009!

I have been in love with this guard forever! Even though its sad to see them not go full out this season, I can understand why, with their appearance at the olympics this summer. But it is soo refreshing to see them do something soft. I can't wait to see them in Beijing! Way to go guys!

isn't colorguard supposed to be a visual interpretation of the music?? WE make it visual.. the MUSIC comes to life through the performers.
The music has to speak for itself, you can't hire any designer to speak for it..
