  • Fucking hate this "art." A 2 year old can get this much attention if this is the way people think.

  • @bearbutt9. I stand by my opinion of your opinion :)

  • fat turd to all of ya!

  • Thanks mr Kalm. :)

  • @bearbutt9 NO ONE cares what you do. This video isn't about you and your provincial opinions. Make your own video and see how no one cares :)

  • @MrWowforever **554## YOU!!!

  • I make a good living at poetry and painting. I have several successful poetry books that are accompanied by music and my art includes drawings (sketches), and large frame paintings of country and shore scenes, as well as a cartoon network. I make

a very good living and work 24 hours a day sometimes. masullo is a soho artist transplanted to SF after spending time doing abstracts in NYC, he is an experiment guy and his paintings deal with basic collages.

  • I would pay $10,000 for Thomas Kinkade, a great artist, but Masullo I could

sqeeze $40 on a good day...

  • @bearbutt9 Your trolling skillz are n00bish at best.

    The LULz r on u.

Feel bad u (sunshiner9) went to art school & still are not a successful artist. Guess it's not your time - christian art/ painters of light don't seem to be relevant these days? Perhaps you can sell you work on greeting cards in front of wal*mart?

  • each to there own they do nothing for me at all but it wouldn't do for us all to like the same stuff.

  • Great to see this approach to art. Refreshing.

  • @sunshiner9 Y'know...you're a very funny guy!

  • @sunshiner9 How droll. How insightful!

  • @sunshiner9 Who the hell are you anyway? You're profile page says you're 22. High school with Andrew? You're a liar either way. What are you, a jealous artist?...though I can't quite imagine there's a shred of the creative in you, or anything else of significance. And as weak as the bully...can't stand behind your own words. The only power you can grasp is to talk moronic, infantile sh-t, under the cloak of anonymity.

  • I know there was an artist at the gallery during the show that was really upset that Andrew was getting his own show and all the publicity. He was a tall dark haired guy that kept bragging how he was much better. Maybe it was him.

  • @sunshiner9 Wow...was that your moment of glory in this world, picking on & hurting the "weaker" guy? Let me tell you, Andrew has more personal strength than you will ever hope to find. Bullies are the most pathetic scum on earth--and here you are, bragging about it 40 years later? I can just imagine what a miserable person you are, and how sad must be the life you're living.

  • @roykogan Thanks for your response to sunshiner9. I deleted his posts and blocked him and his buddy. I have no problem with people offering honest criticism of the work, even if I totally disagree with it. That's one of the main functions of the channel. But stupid personal attacks on the individual artists will not be tolerated, thanks, James Kalm

  • @roykogan I cannot believe that someone from Andrew's past came out and bullied him after all these years and his great accomplishments in the art world. I guess whoever it was does not want Andrew to have any success in life and wants it all for themself, probably another artist who is working on similiar work. Anyway, I love the Masullo work and wish him the best.

  • james.. go to salad days at the jorunal gallery before it's gone!!!

  • Great video James, love the works too...btw, I hope you gonna cover your own show at the Minus Space, aren't you?

  • @bueno3963 The James Kalm report is like a conceptual project, governed by rules. One of the first rules is that the work of Loren Munk will never be featured on the Kalm Report. I've posted over 500 vids over many years and that rule still holds I'll leave the self-promotion to others, thanks

  • For the record, the four painters mentioned are:

    Friedrich Vordemberge-Gildewart (1899-1962)

    Bart van der Leck (1876-1958)

    Florine Stettheimer (1871-1944)

    Forrest Bess (1911-1977)

  • Typhoon Andy began losing steam and that’s when the paint-by-numbers entered the picture. I had a hunch they’d be the perfect antidote to ten content-heavy years: I could put my mind on hold while painting pretty pictures and have a few chuckles to boot.

  • who´s show ? --> wrong ansaw ^^ the james kalm show obviously :D

  • Like the Music!

  • @katzche The music is by Sidecar Agogo.

  • @jameskalm yup, thanks great work you're doing!

  • nice video james

but i didnt like his paintings! (for what my opinion is worth)

good for him if he can sell them at those rediculous prices, but why do all these arty farty types have to be so up themselves?

  • @Cre8iveSignWorks Maybe because they are battling against a world of negativity and indifference.

  • @jameskalm

i say indifference is what they seek and negativity is what they bring on themselves.

    thanks james

  • @mjdosz

yes i understand what you are saying and i dont mind people getting (what i consider) over paid for their work....good luck to them i say.

it just seems that the more you baffle people with bullshit - the more you get paid.

thanx 4 your comment on my work too by the way

    cheers

  • It's all good. Thanks James!!!

  • let's all just nail the coffin shut and pronounce fine art completely dead. emotionless, talentless, skill-less... just add "-less" to all things artistic.

this is the work of an infant lego robot that uses his poopy diapers for design queues.

  • @eenkjet ha, that's hilarious...lol.

  • I would not pay more than $30 for paintings by an artist like this, I can certainly do the same thing myself with a canvas, a little time, and some oils. I like Thomas Kinkade, now there is an artist that is worth the $10000.

  • @bearbutt9 i hate these art galleries who promotes this grade school 'art' as real art. i think most of the people show up just for the free wine.

  • Friedrich Vormemberge-Gildewart

  • @193and Thanks for the spelling, I'm gona Google him right now.

  • bravo...another gem...inspiring...the antithesis of the john currin show...this makes me want to go to the studio and paint!
