I just saw the remake of Conan The Barbarian remake yesterday at the Regal Cinema and it had this horror intro for Lionsgate even though Conan The Barbarian is NOT a horror film so I think this could be renamed the hardcore intro for Lionsgate.

@Jac2Mac They used this logo for "Conan the Barbarian" is because the director's previous films were horror films, "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" (2003), and "Friday the 13th" (2009).

The normal Lionsgate intro is the entrance to heaven. This one is the entrance to hell.

this is on my Netflix copy of Cujo it was the 25th anniversary edition and it has the Republic Pictures logo on the disk then i put it in the warning sign pops up then this logo then some previews then the main menu when i press ''play movie'' the Republic Pictures logo didn't show up it was so weird
