  • Hi Luke

Really useful set of videos, so much so that I have a blueburst 5 string inbound as we speak, so thanks for posting!

One question: What scale length strings did you put on your bass? I assume they are either 3/4 or, more likely, 1/2 scale?

    Cheers

    Gareth

  • You rock OKC, and I like your band too! I play out here in Vegas mostly blues and think one of these bad dogs will be a big hit at our House of Blues gig. I used to play upright in a bluegrass band ah ha. By the way your kitchen has a resonance for that B string too! More videos! I wonder what your bathroom would sound like? (kidding) Good job!

  • HA!!! I've been chastised by a Muppet!!!! That's actually a drying rack you see there, with clean dishes, but the reminder is a good one! OH, and the amp is a Markbass CMP112 combo. Since moved on to a MesaBoogie Walkabout Scout, not to mention Pirastro Olivs, which are true gut-core wrapped in steel.

  • Great effort to show the bass off I am thinking of getting one love the sound and all the color choices. Thanks, now please do your dishes for gods sake.

  • What kind of amp are you using? Sounds great by the way...
