Windows XP: What to do if you're locked out of your computer

i used that at school an idiot changed the pasword and the teacher was about to call the principal to get us a new computer but that computer was full of games and xx videos and didnt whant the principas to have a look at the computer so i inlocked it but cool vid

That's Windows XP, there's a much easier way to do that. Hit Ctrl+Alt+Del at the log-in screen and it will bring up a menu where you type in a username and a password. Just type in Administrator and hit enter, there is no password. Except I am on an HP computer, so my username was HP_Administrator. You can then change/remove your password on another account and log-off.

Im pretty sure that you just can press ctrl + alt + del when you are in normal mode at the login window then the domain login window thing shows where you can type a username, so there you just need to type administrator and then youre in :)

If you have the other admin account than you can reset the main administrator password. If you don't have the other admin account than you can use the reset disk.

If you don't have the reset disk than you can use software called Password Resetter. The Main Purpose of this software is to remove windows password. You can get the software from

@porcelainbones If you select "Safe Mode with Command Prompt" then you should be able to get to a command prompt. in the command prompt type:

net user Administrator *

and press enter. If it asks for a password, and/or a confirmation password just don't type anything and press enter. That will remove your Administrator password. Then you can login as the administrator as shown in the video.

I just want to say that WIndows password is not safe, some tools can remove it easily such as Windows Password Rescuer.

You also can use Windows Password Rescuer to add a new user with admin privileges to your Windows without login. With this New user account you can logon your locked computer directly.

If your system is Windows 7/vista/xp,you can use "Windows Password Rescuer Personal/Professional'.

If your system is Windows 2008/2003/2000,you can choose "Windows Password Rescuer Advanced".

If so, you may have more than just a simple locked out problem. Possibly the registry is corrupted, or you have a virus or missing library files. If you can, a video of what happened would be helpful. Also, what did the words say?

@coffeefucked Oh, I think i know what you mean now. And possibly your problem.

In the video, I used a virtual computer with no user created files on it [well one, but that's insignificant]. So it would be much much faster than other computers [like mine, with MBs of code]. You could try letting it sit there when it freezes, maybe it will un-freeze.
