How long do they live?

What did you feed them? I try to feed them with hard boiled egg yolk and newly hatched brine shrimp, but the first days they are a little too big, so they only chop and eat their parts.

P.S. Mine eggs caught some kind of a fungus and only 4 cats survived :( Now i have some proper medicine to avoid problems like that.

nope hoplo's are very very easy to breed , and the eggs are very easy to hatch ..

they are about the same difficulty to breed as cory cats , the only thing different is the bubble nest and the male will be aggressive towards other fish to protect the nest
