@1krazymamma I highly doubt the youth would be interested in ayahuasca- which combines a relatively expensive ingredients list with a very long and at least modestly complicated brewing process, and yields not euphoria but absolute derealization and delirium.

Having smoked DMT myself, I can tell you that saying it is more effective is not really accurate because it is very different than all of the reports and testimonials I have witnessed for Ayahuasca journeys. Smoking pure DMT produces a very sudden, intense, and short-lived effect and it is not always pleasant. That said, DMT and Ayahuasca are NOT recreational drugs they are medicinal and intended to enlighten as opposed to entertain. Ayahuasca should really be treated with a spiritual sense.

Shame it didn't take off for you. I advice making a stronger brew, and fasting longer before. You've experienced nothing until you get a real breakthrough on ayahuasca. And I say that as someone who've experienced ego death on mushrooms, all kinds of madness/bliss on acid, and out-of-body experiences from salvia divinorum. Ayahuasca is the hammer of the gods, plant kingdom's own powertool. I shit you not my friend. Nausea and vile taste is a small price to pay for a glimpse of eternity.

Yeah, You purged much to quick if you only held it for 15 minutes. I did my brew with mimosa and caapi held it for 1 and 1/2 hours and about 15 minutes after the purge the whole house came alive! The funny thing is all the plants I had sitting in the room were somehow communicating with me (no audio). Another thing was that I could see through my wifes skin. I could see her spirit doing different facial expressions than her physical. That's just the first 5 minutes. Everything is Alive!!!

Im sure you know psilicybin is a type of DMT. Its the closest were gonna get next to ayahuasca. Mushrooms gave me the feeling we all are one made by the warm love light I call God/Jesus. I feel like it dissolved bundaries in my consciusness and i could see the truth with this new found substance. My first ayahuasca attempt ended up the exact same way, although I used mimosa instead of viridis and boy, you thought the rue was bad.

as for finding freebase dmt, its much easier to do some basic research and do your own extraction than either trying to buy it or be disappointed because your 8 hour dedication was met with depressing results.

a one day extraction can net someone all the substance they need for quite a long time. all boils down to how much you desire for the experience.

a shaman made some ayahuasca brew for me in colombia, and led me through the trip..... i think you really need somebody to guide you through the spiritual part of it, instead of just taking it and going off on your own.... there are just small differences between each substance that affect the way you want to do it; the DMT is scarce but not impossible to obtain, you did not get the full blown trip thats for sure.... better luck next time. I recommend all psychedelics, (atleast once)

Theres a strict diet that you need to follow before the consumption of ayahuasca. Free of perservatives, sugars, red meats, fats, over rippen fruit(due to the excess sugar), pharmaceuticles(sp?), and astinence from sex. Theres alot to this medicine man. You should try to do it in a ceremonial setting with a shaman. They sing icaros, which are songs that open up the visions of the brew. And the original plants that are used for the brew are chacruna leaf and caapi vine. Go to south america man

@erydiam Actually you can get the proper materials on ebay as they are all legal. Actually methods differ, and I have never heard of it needing three days to boil. Most shaman seem to boil it for about a day.

You can also attempt to grow psychotria or syrian rue yourself, but propagating these plants is very difficult.

The heat transfer in this method is so terrible that it takes three days to get the proper chemicals and infusion to take place. It's simple chemical breakdown due to heat. Just the thoughts of a homebrewer who's trying to recreate old brews

@erydiam lol, every shaman is a individual some will add, coca some will add Chaliponga instead of charchuana, some will add datura, some will add brugmania. some will boil for 3 days some will for a few hours. u don't need to buy the stuff off of ebay, but some will, i would consider acacia confusa and syrain rue because acacia has a stable and high amount of dmt. 1-1.5. so 10-15mg per gram. if u take 30 mgs with 100 mg of harmine u good to go. I think a higher amount of dmt is better.

Psychotria viridis leaves (dried) and either banisteriopsis caapi vines or syrian rue seeds as the MAOI, and you need lemon juice from a convenience store and a few other odds and ends. You have to research the brewing process, which is somewhat intensive.

Perhaps the plant variety you used may have had a higher concentration of 5-meo-dmt than N-N-dmt and thats why visuals may not have been present. Phalaris grass I have heard is an easy way to obtain both substances by putting it through a wheat grass juicer and combining the liquid with an maoi.

DMT is naturally secreted in the pineal gland as is melatonin. There was a research project authorized a few years ago by the US government (surprisingly). I havent finished the book. DMT and Salvia seem to produce similar results, including encounters with intelligent technological entities.

Tried the tea it in '93, at peak I felt like a long worm shooting through a bottomless rainbow playground slide, with my feet tethered to the top. I stretched as long as the imagination could carry. if that's a short way to describe it. Had hot diarrhea. It wasn't a bad trip but not a beautiful trip either in my opinion because I could make no good enough sense of any signs afterward, and after trips I like to try and figure out what they mean, but no satisfied meaning for me.
