Well, if you mean add oil to the motor, it's electric, not gas. And if you mean add oil to the chain, we did that before we removed the chain to look for the underlying issue. The issue was that the motor was already cooked from the previous owner : P

no i meant add oil to the motor before starting the motor to get a real good smoke, i did that to one of the old fan motor... it gotten hot like it did, only the smoke was thick and the motor ran longer almost 2 minutes before it caught fire
