@penn707 LOL! No, I was on the road side of the fence. The roads (public) own quite a few feet back, in this case to the top of that hill, I reckon.

soooooooooo what is the purpose of cutting dogwood? What is it used for?

@wheelori814 It is lovely red, wonderful for making baskets. It's red ozier dogwood, not the tree, but a bush with straight sprouts anually.
