thats a bedbug bite im telling you thats what mine looked like when i was pregnant an staying at my aunts house i left an never returned cause of the bugs
I had a bite in pretty much the exact same spot last year. I went to the Doctors and they precribed antibiotics to prevent an infection growing. I also used hydrocortosine cream to reduce swelling. It was sooo painful and I haven't got a clue what bit me either! I live in UK and assumed it was a horse fly (nasty little buggers) It took a good month for the swelling to go down and I still have discolouration on my skin and a tiny lump where it was now!!
JUST RELEASED!! All Natural KILLSHOT Luggage Barrier spray. KILLSHOT Luggage Barrier comes in TSA approved 2oz. bottles for air travel and 4oz. bottles for sea travel. Iowa State University has proclaimed KILLSHOT to be the #1 Bio-Based Bed Bug Killer ever formulated. It Kills Bed Bugs within Seconds and leaves weeks of residual killing power for prevention. Spray product on your luggage before leaving your home for a trip and then again when you’re preparing to return.
You got bitten by a spider hon. Looks like he had a feast. Problem with spiders is once they find a sleeping bag of food they will often return as they know you are there through C02 emissions from your breath. I would too, if there were free steaks a couple of crawls away....=D
looks like a bullseye.. it might be a bed bug or a "tick" bite because i guess they leave a bullseye kind of mark on you after.. yea if you have a bite like this you probably should get it checked because if it is a tick bite you could get lyme disease just from a single bite. So the faster they know what it is the faster they can diagnose whatever you might need.. you dont wana just sit and wait because the sooner the better.
has anybody had any success treating an entire house with heat to get rid of bed bugs? because rather than chemicals i would like to treat the whole house rathar than a room or two, just to be safe.
You have is an insect called 'chiggers' or 'red bugs'. They are about the size of a pinhead. They mainly live in the woods in dead trees. On you're skin, chiggers burrow into you're skin. They will cause a very intense itch, as they are still alive in your skin.
Getting rid of chiggers is very easy, just use fingernail polish to paint over the the hard spot. This will seal of air, and will suffocate the bug. With in 24 hours the itch will stop, because the chigger is dead.
allow me to qualify what i mean by woods. years ago i lived in an appartment in a city. there was a single line of trees between my apartment an the swimming pool. the trees were pine trees and none of them were dead, however, they had some dead branches on them. When i started getting sores like you have, a neighbor, who was a hunter, told me about chiggers. when I tried the fingernail polish, it worked suprisingly well.
Yes. But, whether or not you suffocate it with the fingernail polish, or it dies of old age. That little bug will die inside your skin. The human body, however, will expell the bug back out of your skin, after it is dead.
Don't try to dig it out with your finger nail or anything else. That will not work; I know. I tried that.
Maybe, but I searched my bed and bf's bed and didn't find them ANYWHERE! Though, there was one, one night crawling on the wall, but dunno if it was a tiny beetle or bed bug, but I have no clue with the time frame of that and the occurrence of the bite. So yeah, I dunno. :(
Bed bugs and beetles often live together (we had both...) so just be on the lookout for more since you saw one. Also, keep your eyes out for dark brown stains on your sheets, pillow cases, etc.
@megaprime07 I'm telling you if you saw ONE bedbug, you have bedbugs-they hide anywhere and everywhere-headboard, pic frame above bed or w.in 20ft, take molding off on bedroom door frame and be armed w/ Diatomaceous powder or boric acid at least. It dsn't LOOK like a bedbug bite, but u may be senstive. Put tht powder around the legs of bed and also check boxspring and puff tht powder under boxspring, switchplates, frame the perimeter of carpet etc...good luck! it's hell i know! :)
Go to medecinenet's website and search for "bad bugs slideshow" (without the quotes). Click on the first result, which reads "Bad Bugs Pictures Slideshow: Identify Bugs and Their Bites."
