A society can use industrial production to produce needed goods without profit and without becoming conspicuous consumers living off the backs of slave labor at home and abroad, buying things for the sake of having bought them, trying to fill the void advertising says buying will fill, but of course can't--but it's not really supposed to or people would stop buying.

Yes, thewirrow, an export processing zone is a place where some limitations are lifted to attract business. These workers will eventually be replaced with cheap intelligent robots. Once that happens, they'll beg for their old jobs back, no matter how bad the conditions were. Having a crappy job is better than starving with no job.

Second what you are proposing makes it very difficult to create awareness. We are not able to educate people without interacting with them.

Third as the video demonstrates consumers all to often behave like zombies in the stores that they frequent.
