  • BEAUTIFUL!!! I love it, thanks. What a sight to see, a beautiful representative for our Yupik peoples! Her performance was amazing and her crowning was even more so! Almost unbelievable that someone from such a small place would win such a title, just breathtaking! Quyana cakenvak Alek'aq for such an outstanding performance and great representation!

  • Love it when other Nations Get involved and teach our young. Really love it when we can share this with non Native's. To show them we are no different, we all beleive in a greater power, just prey in a different way. Blessing's to you all.

  • I remember back in the day, when my friend Gloria Snow won. I was watching her from half way up, with binoculars, and they read a bit of the essay from the winner, without announcing who it was. I saw her reaction as she recognized her essay, and knew it was her, so I started to totally SPAZ out all loud. Crying and laughing and yelling around...LMAO it was crazy!!
