  • Haha I love how throws a bunch of picks into the crowd. What a great dude.

  • Wow! great seats!

  • how would you like to be the kid he hands the pic to, talk about one of them life affirming moments.

  • Wow! Are the guitar strings smoking? Or is that his hand? He's playing so fast! He never ceases to amaze me with his guitar skills!

  • All of Brad's band is awesome! And I dunno that we've ever heard Brad "shred" he can get goin' pretty fast even in his pop stuff. And the instrumental album was awesome. That one legato like in "Water" blew me away.

  • I'm glad Brad's youtubes aren't loaded up with crass commericalz

  • I want his picks!

  • i fotgot what song is that can anyone tell me

  • throttleneck

  • He finally won the Country instrumental grammy with this one, didn't he? I was sure he was gonna do it with Time Warp but I think Roy Acuff or someone got a sympathy win.

  • plinkytx: Yep--"Throttleneck" won Paisley his first Grammy and it was for Best Country Instrumental. Recently, he also won a Grammy for Best Country Instrumental for "Cluster Pluck" along with Brent Mason, Vince Gill and a few other great country pickers. He also won a Grammy for "Letter to Me" and I'm not sure if that was for Country Single of the Year or what--maybe Best Male Country Performance or something like that.

  • OH I KNOW! haha "Time Warp" really blew my mind, and I thought the same thing.

  • throttleneck

  • The audio turned out really well. This is a great song. And Brad Paisley kicks Keith Urban's ass.

  • Guitar duel...Brad Paisley Vs Michael Angelo Batio...lmao

  • well thats not really nice lol. I don't think any guitarist has the technicallity to beat batio but i do know i don't give a shit how good batio is lmfao just not my thing. Dimebag,Zakk,Slash,Joe Perry, and eric clapton. rock on.

  • guitaristONgasoline: Slash? Really? He's good, but very overrated. Joe Perry's overrated too. Clapton's awesome though and Zakk Wylde's not bad. Dimebag was good too.

As much as you may hate this though, Brad Paisley is far more versatile than each of those guitarists...even when combined.

  • Slash isn't overrated, you just never seen the stuff he became famous for in the first place, same with joe great blues player too. And i think when it comes to versatitlity Zakk would take Brad, since Zakk plays from country to classical to metal. None of them are better than eachother though, all guitarists rock.

  • guitaristONgasoline: When has Zakk Wylde ever played country? I'm not trying to sound like a scumbag when I say that--I just honestly haven't heard him play country!

  • listen to songs from his band pride and glory. Songs like hammer and the nail, i hate your guts, and if your interested in all the chicken pickin stuff, defitinly look up farm fiddlin by zakk too.

  • I must say that the guitar work in "The Hammer and the Nail" wasn't bad at all! Usually, when rock artists play country-style songs, they don't do it even half as well as Wylde in that one...of course, there are exceptions like Badfinger, Cinderella, the Beatles and apparently Zakk Wylde!

However, judging by that one song, I can't say that he's better at country than Paisley...I'll have to check the other songs you mentioned out now!

  • He's definitly not as good, but i believe he does a great job in the southern-rock country genre for a heavy metal guitarist.

  • guitaristONgasoline: I'd have to agree with that. I don't know of many rock guitarists who will even play country at all on an album! Although the bands Cinderella and Jackyl have both done that. With Cinderella, it was the song "One for Rock and Roll" (yet it was a country song--kind of odd). For Jackyl, it was "Secret of the Bottle."

  • @stipecountry dimebag darrel did a country album

  • he does an awsome sweet home alabama cover

  • dimebagxpantera: I'd much rather listen to Paisley than Batio! I mean, I find it more interesting to hear non-metal guitarists play with excessive speed, such as jazz and country artists, than I do when it's metal. Of course, I do like metal and so does Brad Paisley. In fact, Paisley once said that Eddie Van Halen was one of his first influences.

  • Difference = Paisley sounds twice as good CLEAN. Batio uses unnecessarily thick heavy distortion to the point where you can barely hear the notes.

  • true he uses distortion but he is a very clean player.

  • Keith Urban best country guitarist...

  • fuck u fucking cock sucker keith urban aint country hes not from america much less the south best country guitarist is chett atkins look it up its been proven new country sucks now adays ne one can throw on a cowboy hat and claim to be country ur a fucking shit eating queff bag

  • For one I was talking recent country. Two I don't even like country. Three it's opinion. Four You sure are a cool guy with your internet cussing. Grow up man and chill the hell out.

  • To compare this excuse of a guitarist to Batio is downright treason.

  • Batio?? LOLOLOL total garbage guitarist. lame power chord chugging with incessant major and minor sweep arpeggios. when he learns to write music I'll check him out. let me know...

  • @polishcomedy Shoot me your best guitar jam and then let's criticize! And yes, I.m polish!

  • @zaigar11 What do you mean? p.s. Paisley rules so hard!!

  • tylerd0012: Chet Atkins was outstanding. He has influenced more rock guitarists than probably any other country guitarist. However--as much as I love the guitar work of Chet Atkins--I must say that Brad Paisley is more versatile. I mean, Paisley can go from playing Chet Atkins-style finger picking to playing surf rock to playing western swing, jazz and even Eric Johnson-style rock...not many guitarists--regardless of genre--can do that.

  • your right he is good but im just a good ole rebel new country means nothing to me and chet atkins would take paisley to school and teach him a thing or to not saying u did but the probelm with todays country and other genres is no respect for the legends look at blues and rock i mean if it wasnt for robert johnson were would they be i will never compare paisley to chet hes just not up to that par

  • franchise5673: Now Keith Urban is a really good guitarist and his two country instrumentals, "Clutterbilly" and "Rollercoaster" are great. However, Brad Paisley is still a lot better.

Plus, Keith Urban no longer plays country--even by today's standards!

  • keith urban aint country hes not from this country much less the good ole south i mean keith urbans a bitch and fuck taylor swift to shes from nova scotia here in the backwoods of campabello we still listen adn respect the legends hank SR. ole george jones etc. country aint country no more

  • @dimebagxpantera That'd be awesome

  • @dimebagxpantera paisley would smoke him any day.

  • hello! which were your exact seats at this concert? are concerts good at the venue? i'll really appreciate your advice =)

  • i love throttleneck

  • What happened right around 00:25 you can see him looking over and say, "dont do that"

Anyways, WOW his playing is awesome and can't wait to see him again soon!!!

  • wow...ur right...i wonder if one of the fans were being obnoxious..?

  • i saw this live, it was great

  • This song is on his cd fifth Gar it's called throttleneck

  • Man. that person who got that pick is lucky.

Thought it was funny how he went to that one mic and couldn't find one and went to the other one and did.

  • if you watch closly you can see he puts one in his mouth.
