As an EMT/Firefighter it is an honor to work alongside police officers. They've saved my life on quite a few occasions and help secure scenes when called upon. Yet they get the least amount of thanks which is sad. Thank you for your service and I hope to one join all of you in my journey through the different positions of first responders.

@Vindaven Thank you. It is a bit preachy, but glad you still took the time to watch it. Daughter has always been creative. I gave her words and she found all photos, music, and arranged everything. We had to use powerpoint and convert it, so I did help a bit giving directions.

I am a police officer. I've sacrificed relationships, a marriage, countless hollidays and weekends, and precious time with my son. I've been cursed at, spit at, swung at, and shot at by people to whom I've done no wrong. The hours are lousy. The work environment is hazardous. The pay is inadequate. But it is the greatest job in the world.

I'm a wife of an LAPD officer and this type of tribute always reminds us that police officers are true heroes. No matter how much they see out there and choose to keep it to themselves because they don't want to bring it back to their homes, they still continue to go back everyday and be heroes to the community.
