I am still trying to find out why someone would support him because of "race"? What race is Newt that his candidacy make someone vote for him because of race....
The tea party IS racist. Why do you think they loved Herman Cain so much? Because he's a rapist with no political experience and worked for the Federal Reserve? No! Because he's an aloof black guy who makes the tea party feel like they're doing something good and heart warming.
@Hairmetaller86 haha...what? So let me get this straight....the way you know that someone is racist is because they support someone you accuse of being a rapist? I'm missing the race connection there? And who exactly did he rape? He has been accused of having affairs..but that isn't the same thing as rape is it? (if you need an example of rape look at Bill Clinton's history).
@mixmastermeeks No. It's because Herman Cain was such a terrible and very aloof candidate but people still rallied behind him because he's black. He is like the Tea Partys version of Barack Obama. Ann Coulter even said "Our blacks are much better than their blacks".
The left voted for Obama because he's black, and a socialist. The Tea party liked Herman Cain because he's black, even though there were candidates more qualified and more in line with the Tea Party's beliefs.
@Hairmetaller86 Meh. I agree with some of that. I think many whites voted for Obama just to say that they voted for a black (or semi black) man. And certainly there are people in the tea party who think supporting Cain made them not racist. But all in all I think Obama got elected mainly because he was absurdly supported by the media (no questions about Rev Right) and Cain was supported by the tea party because they see him as a fiscal outsider.
@Hairmetaller86 Personally I really like Cain. But I would have never voted for him simply because he had no foreign policy. We had 8 years of bad foreign policy, 3 (soon to be 4) of worse, and we just don't have time or room for someone else to learn on the job.
@mixmastermeeks Yes you are right. He didn't have any clue about what was going on in Libya, and he thought that China was attempting to get nuclear capabilities(even though they've had them since the 60's). Maybe you have seen that interview with him. It was a little disturbing that he could have become our president. What is worse is that he worked for the Federal Reserve, which is very very suspicious. And supposedly his 999 tax plan would raise taxes. But I don't quite know for sure.
@Hairmetaller86 But honestly that isn't surprising. I supported the tea part initially...but most of them have no concept of foreign affairs. Ron Paul? Foreign policy sucks. I am supporting Gingrich. Not all together happy with him, (actually I like Johnson but the GOP have completely fucking shut him out) but he says he will kill Obama care, he has balanced the budget, and certainly is up with foreign policy.

Beck is an idiot. He supports Ron Paul, which means throwing Israel under the bus, a country he once claimed to support. With Ron Paul as the GOP nominee, Obama would coast to re-election, because Ron Paul is even farther to the left on foreign policy than Obama himself. What is it about the 21 Century Contract with America do you detest, Glenn, you MORON.
"Why"? Glenn beck wants to know? Because the tea party was hijacked by neocons.

@mixmastermeeks Gary Johnson is more libertarian Ron Paul.

@FWYGINOND I think Johnson was the best candidate. It pisses me off that the GOP shut him out.

@FWYGINOND LOL! How to measure the good of a man? How to measure his evil? How to measure his liberty when he wants all men to be free?

@mixmastermeeks You prefer endless war? Ron Paul has a spot on foreign policy for those of us that hate war.
MegaBadhorsie 1 week ago
@MegaBadhorsie yeah? So did Neville Chamberlain. Didn't do England much good though.
