  • Another awesome vid!!! A quick shot of the lure/bait before each fish caught would really help me, and make u the undisputed king of fishing shows!!! Keep up the good work.

  • I did show the bait in the full show called Kayak Caper. This is highlight of that show.

    Regards,

    Capt Ben

  • Kayak fishing its funny =D

  • just an idea but you should put where you were fishing at in the description box for each video. i would at least appreciate it.

  • Actually I have done you one better and all show clips are mapped where we caught the fish. Thanks for watching.

    Regards,

    Capt Ben

  • Hey Cpt Chancy, Regarding your Galith Challenge Have you thought about getting the guys from OCC to try it out. Maybe they can make a theme bike for you.

    A1C David Chapa

  • I have never really thought of something like that. If I had a contact with them I would present it. Cool idea.

    Regards,

    Capt Ben

  • kayak sharking is pretty wild.

  • I think it would make a great show but I don't know if I am will to risk it yet. We have some really bad mean bull sharks here.

    Regards,

    Capt Ben

  • you mean like the ones featured in yur goliath fishing??? casue i might get a boat but anyways thnx a lot for the tips 10/10

  • do you know if fishing bridges are any good in sw florida or stuart or do you know were theyre good? cuz i dont have a boat yet so all i can do is fish in bridges or fishing bridges i kno right. but plz reply.

  • I know several bridges are good a night but from a boat. The Juno pier in Jupiter is a great place to fish from shore.

    Regards,

    Capt Ben

  • lol he looked scared he was goin to get pulled in i would be too, nice catch man

  • very nice in that in stuart too?

  • No Sir it's in SW Florida.

  • Great Stuff Capt! 5*

    Alan.

  • Catch and release like a pro.

    Great job.

  • Great job, its cool that you are expanding your fishing techniques on the show! While youre at it, I think a show off of a pier would be awesome! (Juno Pier is really good) Thank you again for another wonderful show.

    Danny

  • Danngree you are right about that one. Juno is on my list. When do you think would be the best time of year to give it a shot. I usually run trips out of Stuart in July, August.

    Regards,

    Capt Ben

  • Late in july is usaully the best time to get out there. That time of the month the snook run BIG the water is usaully crystal clear during that month, so you can see right down at the fish. I usaully try catching the snook about 50feet in front on the first shelter, also spanish mackerel are also running so I usaully try catching them on a spoon. If they dont take that they will eat any small sized baitfish. to catch a snook, live shrimp, live pilchard put a weight on it, let it sink by th pier

  • I was down there last August and the Snook where bighting like mad, there where also large bonita and Kingfish. I would recommend late August to early July if you want to go for snook. Here is a link to the website, it shows the best seasons, and recommended tackle ect.

    junobeachpier (dot) net

  • Thanks that is usually the time of year I like anyway.

    Regards,

    Capt Ben

  • Your very welcome, keep on fishing! I love the show!

    Danny

  • Yes I was down there last july and everything was biting snook, mackerel, jack, bonita it was crazy!!

  • AWESOME MAN!

  • What did you use for bait?

  • is there a ceritain key that you would recomend for the best snook fishing?

ive done a lot of peer fishing in laurderdale but very little success with the stubborn snook

    mostly just jacks and snapper

ps. whats the best snook lure/bait for them?

  • We really like Jerk Baits. They seem to do great.

    Regards,

    Capt Ben

  • nice snook. hopefully sometime soon i'll be able to bring my 'yak down there and get in on some of the action.

  • Head on down.

    Regards,

    Capt Ben

  • nicee video!!! capt .ben what were you using live bait?? and yeah that should be about 20 lbs. and nice job with the circle hook

  • Hey, a yak-fishing! You really rocks! So I guess the next step will be shark catch from yak! I saw pictures of some Brits catching porbeagles (Lamna nasus) from yak, unfortunately it was a bloodshed :( Apart from that porbeagles are much less aggresive that say bullshark. So guess that is a challenge for you - bull-shark from a yak - catch & release baby!

  • Thank you very much Tomaszeks.

    Regards,

    Capt Ben

  • nice vidio dude keep them up and do u ever fish by new york for stripers or blues please get back 2 me!!lol cool vidio!!! i never fished in the keys but how is dock fishing???

  • Not yet but maybe one day when the show budgets come around.

    Regards,

    Capt Ben

  • if ur looking for stripers try the chesapeake bay.

  • long island sounds great for stripers also...
