With Eddie's death, the unfortunate consolation was that his career received a boost, and he was able to cement himself as a midcard heel for a few years, until Vince was done milking Eddie's death and there was no material left for Chavo, in WWE's eyes. Then eventually he was finally released.

When I went to Madison Square Garden to see The Smackdown World Tour, Alberto Del Rio was scheduled to fight Chavo Guerrero. While Alberto Del Rio was talking smack and then all of a sudden Chavo's music came on, the arena exploded. I have never heard such a big pop for such an underrated wrestler. Hell even I got up on my feet and was like, "WOO!! CHAVOTON!" Haha, this guy needs a push. Eddie Guerrero would not be happy if he saw this may he rest in peace. GIVE CHAVO A PUSH WWE!
