For the life of me,I cant get my c64 mssiah to trigger off any midi notes..(using a mpc 1000) Ive switched midi channels cables etc. I dont want to sell it before even using it..any clues?

Only just stumbled across the MSSIAH cart after using LSDJ for a while and wanted to upgrade, I know a lot of these sounds are the original 303 etc but still, I've looked at the MSSIAH specific videos and it looks like a great cart!
