  • LOL....loved watching Fred with my Dad since I was a little kid. Fred and my dad are both gone to the great out doors in the sky now.

I think it is bad taste how the new program never mentions Fred but falls all over Mort Neff. Gime a break

  • I used to watch him with my Dad when I was like 8. I loved it. RIP.

  • I was an avid fan of Michigan Outdoors and Fred...I don't believe I missed a show...Fred was very out-spoken and said it like it was...Sad to hear he has passed.

    RIP fred

  • you need to get the video of him getting his camper stuck. that one was classic.

  • I was so bumbed to find out his passing, Freds shows were great... i tried to never miss 1 either on thurs night or saturdays ..we sure need more shows like his,,,on again, my condolences Zach and family.....he is /will be truely missed...

  • I miss Fred, with the state of hunting as it stands now in Michigan we could really use Fred to stand up for us practical sportsmen.Such a shame that he isnt here to make a stand for us,the good ones go early

  • Sure do miss Fred.

  • Hahahahahahaha!!! Awesome.

  • Hahahaha... this is awesome! You know Fred really wanted to say this every week as Michigan's hunting and fishing numbers dropped.

  • This was a little different of a closing than I remember running on the show. How did you get a copy of this?

  • You know I'm not sure of the exact origin of The clip i think it was for the Detroit Stakeout party for Detroit Journalist some time in the late 80's or early 90's, i found it on some tapes that PBS in Detroit was throwing away
