Of Die Hard Trilogy (Saturn), I enjoyed the Die Hard, and Die Harder (moreso), and thought Die Had with A Vengeance was okay. On the Saturn at least you have tight left/right turns, via L/R shoulder buttons. That alone makes it a lot more playable. It had that Car chase and ram aspect like from Die Hard Trilogy 2. The Saturn also has light gun (stunner) support, and arcade wheel too. (Wish I had the stunner).
As for Die Hard Trilogy 2... are you serious? It isn't loosely based on the film trilogy, it isn't based on it at all. It's an entirely new story. And no, I don't die and quit the game. I die and try harder.

You criticise the first game for its lack of "depth" and then praise the second one for being arcade fun which is exactly what the entire Trilogy is about. Your complaint about the third game clearly stems from the fact that you don't have a clue how to play it. You even admit that the "map" makes no sense to you. It's simple, when the red pointer is pointing upwards, you're going in the right direction.
A game isn't bad because you either miss the point or suck at it.
I remember a debug cheat in number2 that i used to just mess around with when i was younger didnt have a clue what i was doing but it was hilarious seeing cars flying around and shit
the only reson the third game onn DHtriogy 1 is fun because i love finding glitches in games thats the only reson

On Die hard with a Vengence, the controls are terrible. Turning is hell, and like you said, you get stuck, and wasting precious time, which you need.
