@svolypet You don't know that, we all don't know who should be in the top 12 or any order, because we can't see the marching detail, but the judges. So, You should really take that back the whole "fuck the judges" because they work hard.

You've clearly never been screwed by the judges night after night, even though you worked your ASS off all day long in the hot sun, cleaning the shit out of a show that never got the credit it deserved. It's happened to me twice, with two different corps. I've watched the high cam on both of those shows, and I can tell you that they weren't close to perfect. But there's something about having the show of your life and dropping 2 points that just doesn't make sense.

A bunch of washed-up band directors and former marchers who want nothing BUT the advancement of the activity towards encompassing a greater audience. Expressing your opinion about a group is fine... But don't talk about judging if you have no clue how it really works, which you obviously don't.

And you clearly came on to a video of Spirit and made that comment. That alone points the direction of your comment towards the group in the video.

If that is really true, give me the statistics please, since you express that so much to be true. Besides, I say that for all groups, I liked this show.

@mbmaccin555555 There are no statistics, since the only things that are documented are the scores and the tapes. But year to year, you can see the political trends juxtaposed with the new rules. In 2006, The Cadets finished outside the top 3 for only the second time since the 90s. What did they do that year? They fully integrated vocals into the show, at a level not seen before then.

In 2005, the Blue Devils used vocals in their show. That was their lowest placement since the 80s.

Drum corps drumlines are always ridiculously competitive. There was one person on our snare line this year that was still in high school, so it could happen. I'd say audition anyways and even if you don't make it, you'll still learn a hell of a lot from the staff.

i went to the audition camp this past week, and the drum staff was great. very relaxed friendly and there to help.

Good...I was an advanced drummer at your age...I was playing college level music at 16....but due to some problems between them and my dad I was prevented to march....And It soudns like stuff has changed...good to hear it. It was awful when i attended in 1998...
