i never used the double melee cuz you have to pistol them 2x before the double melee is a kill and at that point you might aswell shoot them again

5:54 to 5:58. Sick. I used to be pretty good at this game. Won several tourney's in northern Ohio. I loved the M6D pistol, passed up so many rockets before I finally got good enough with that gun (no power weapons, I lived and died by the skill weapons). By far, best weapon in video gaming history. Halo 1, with the xbc competition (and maturity), LAN parties and mechanics, will go down as my favorite game of all time.

@KadajXZ Not going for Rockets it a pretty silly gameplan, since weapon / powerup control is so important. Playing to win means not holding back, and I doubt you won any serious tournaments by not trying.

But I do agree, Halo 1 is arguably the best game of our generation.

Kind Sir, what I meant by that comment was, I TRAINED by not getting the Rocks on maps, dying numerous times before I could hold my own with just the skill weapons. When tourney's came around, anything goes. I completely agree, weapon and map control were ridiculously important. We used to count in our heads while we played, knowing to the second when power ups and rocks would respawn, and plan accordingly.

Let me solve this.. He's using XBC. XboxConnect.. It's tunneling software that runs on your computer, tricking your xbox into thinking you're playing a LAN game.. Essentially free Xbox Live. The fact that it only runs LAN games makes it perfect for the first Halo. Although sometimes it can get a big laggy as you can see if you look closely..
