Hey guys this stuff here is real easy to set up. Just get a co2 bottle ( its not really NOS) and pick up a solenoid ( electrical switch). Make sure the threads match up which are normally NPT. Then get a copper T fitting either 1/8" or 1/4". Get you a push switch or go fancy and put a toggle switch to arm and a push switch to activate.. Lol. The get your compression line, make sure it's not air line because the Pharos on the fittings might not fit on. That's basically it, Walmart carries big co

FYI - the fuse should be next to the battery, not the other end. If your wire shorts in between the bat and fuse it will cause a fire...

@reatard132 .....so if "it makes the threads tighter", aren't you sealing it? I hook up a ton of fittings & out in the refinery I work in, we call the teflon tape a sealer, if you want to lubricate, you just use teflon spray/lithium grease.

Teflon tape seals unions & prevents slow bleed-down, there's no doubt about how it functions like that - Loctite is for bolt/nut connections - nobody in industry ever goes out to a tubing job & says "Oh, yeah - I need to grab my Loctite".

Great instructional video for a dumb river product. Making people think you're faster than you are is dumb and I don't see making a plain Jane cobalt a show car with just co2 spray. Im not hating and like I said good install video but a real purge is to make sure when you activate your nitrous kit you have liquid nitrous right at the solenoid for the best hit. Not to look like a Tuff guy or intimidate anyone. Hell I thought about purging to the ground with my wet kit on my trailblazer ss.

Second to the makers of this video, there is no point to put the fuse that far away from the battery. Think about (this is what i do for a living) you have the fuse under the dash but what happens if the wire rubs through before that? Correct it will keep getting power because the fuse is not close to the battery. So please guys for the sake of your car, put the fuse in the trunk.

ok sorry guys but i have to point out a few things here and don't take me the wrong way ok. Ok first this is a GREAT idea i know cause i have one and before you go running off at the mouth, i have a fully built Focus with direct port ZEX kit dual bottle and this kit on top of that. I only purge my ZEX kit after i have closed the bottle and are done using it. This kit is very nice to show off your stuff. You can purge all day long for 5 bucks instead of 80 bucks so leave these guys alone.

But if you're using real nitrous that is going into your intake in any way, then don't use the teflon tape. Any debri that could clog your lines for a few seconds will cause the motor to run extremely lean if the fuel is blocked, or pig rich if the nitrous is blocked. Hope for the latter.

@sironzex if you have a turbo car with an intercooler this is a worthwhile mod (sort of) because you can run the lines to spray the c02 on to the intercooler thus decreasing intake temps and creating more horsepower. the way he did it though.. yea. pretty fuckin dumb if i do say so myself lol

you can refill the tank for about $5 at any paintball store with the adapter that they give you..make a good relationship with the paintball store...you will be refilling that tank very often as it doesnt like more than two times what was in the video
