  • This music is so subtle, expressive, sensitive and beautiful. It is a good reminder of the musical universe that also gave birth to the music of the Sikh gurus. Vaje nad anek asankha kete vavanahare.

  • nice to see Taoos and Pakhawaj in the background.

I don't know if you do requests but i think they both are just longing to be played. could you do kirpa on your viewers?

Thank you again for sharing such a vast array

    musical treasures

  • I will look in to that for sure, but I am in the midst of leaving for the Hofstra University, so won't able to do more than I have been able to do. These posts are also Hofstra students related, perhaps it would explain why I have been able to post so many with in a few days...

But, thank you really, for your patronage. I do really appreciate it. Knowing that your kind of co-dwellers are in the midst makes it not so a lonely sojourn. bbs

  • BTW, this huge pakhawaj is coming to the Hofstra University. My protege Parminder Singh Bhamra will play it there, you should hear him sometime...
