@LazerFlash13 Surely you have them already? Regardless, they're worth pennies on Amazon. There's one simpler way that requires no splitters; and that's if your TV can output in RGB, HDMI or RCA. But a method with less cables? No. From the HDPVR to TV output, all require at least 2 of a type of cable for the Xbox - TV & Xbox - PC. the image has to get to both somehow, right?

@Bvenged505 I doubt you're still using this set up, and this largely for everyone elses benefit, but if you break the casing off your AV cable you can fit your HDMI into the xbox aswell, meaning you can play in full HD and still record via the AV cable.

here is a tip if your useing your hd cables you just need to plug your yellow cable cause u dnt need it so just plug that in to the dazlle or capture card n the just put the white n red in then when you go to your hd chanle you can see it n you can see it on your computer when you load it up but only one thing you cant hear throw the hd chanle

@VideoLover886 To record, it doesn't matter how powerful your computer is. But to edit your computer needs to be able to handle the processing power, so a medium powered pc is required at least - my computer is 6 years old and its processor can handle just fine (boosted with 1.5Gb RAM ofc.).

there are much more efficient and easier ways of capture from a capture device like dazzle. Try a program called DScaler.

It's the only program that displays your xbox360 at 60fps while you capture.

I need help. i've plugged my dazzle into my pc, then there is some double ended wires. one end going into my dazzle then 3 of the other wires into my scart (which is in the tv), the scart has 3 splitters so 3 are dazzle wires and the other 3 are xbox wires. but why can my dazzle not pick the xbox up. please reply.

@youfreaker Platinum Dazzle fails as far as I'm concerned, It only seems to work in full NTSC, in the USA.Why bother as mine records in just under standard SD. Also I'd like to add, I made this video as I was fed up of seeing the comments on Platinum Dazzles from Brits saying "It doesn't work"... etc. Plat.D's are newer, so have different hardware and software configurations. The oldest-but-1 (DVC90) seems to not give a flying-pig where it's working. As long as your software's set to NTSC.
