I agree, I feel like this one should've one. But those who are complaining about the winning one being animated shouldn't. Pogo WANTED people to be creative, he didn't mind if people made a video like he would, but he never said they couldn't do anything outside the box.

It looks like you did something to the frame rate when you imported the footage. Did you use some kind of motion correction or HD playback tool? There's not as much of a blur track as is in the actual footage.

I don't mean to nit-pick, but a lot of parts are out of sync by fractions of a second and the cuts are a bit sloppy. You can actually see some of the clips freeze before going over to the next one. I know you worked really hard on this, but as everyone else is saying this is a bit typical. Good job for taking the Pogo approach though.

Based purely on the fact that this entry took only 4 days to complete, while the other top entries took 12 days to make shows class. This masterpiece was finished well before the others and therefore deserves to win.

It's obviously much more difficult than it seems; I think it takes a certain finesse to create a video like this that flows well. This one definitely has my support.
This is the only video that does the track justice. The other video entries might be creative, but they don't capture the whole feel of the song. Anything being used besides the actual film that the track is representing just degrades it. I don't think this video will win and I'm a little disappointed in the fans who are going to allow of the other video entries be the official embarrassment for such a great track.

i am super impressed. i had started making a video out of the movie for the competition as well and could not for the life of me find every speaking part! but u did! awesome.i had to leave the country a day after the contest was announced but i will try and finish when i get back!
This is beautiful, teeming with the happy glow-y warmness of nostalgia of watching this as a kid - As Pogo vdeos should be. This is the closest to his style. It's not right to take the imagery away from the music. You certainly got my vote, and would get many more from me if it would let me vote again!

My only peeve about this one is that some of the scenes were used a bit too much for my taste, but overall I loved it. Although the other entries were well made and fit the music perfectly, this one had the Pogo style which I was looking for.
Defffffffffinitely got my vote. Although all the others were a stylistically distinct from Pogo's regular videos, this one was the most compelling. It is the only one that really carries the song's energy and truly "works".
At first glance, I knew I would love your one. It brought shivers down my legs due to the elegance and continues to carry on with Pogo's imagery for his works. I'm not a huge fan of favourtism and choosing one person to win something, but I do hope you continue with your fan videos so people can have a fresh breath of music to listen to. i love this and the stick figure (producing music) videos, but to me, the pogo videos are about seeing the emotion in the characters faces during each part of the song, like with bangarang/expiladicious/skynet symphonic etc. etc.

i am super impressed. i had started making a video out of the movie for the competition as well and could not for the life of me find every speaking part! but u did! awesome.i had to leave the country a day after the contest was announced but i will try and finish when i get back!

This is beautiful, teeming with the happy glow-y warmness of nostalgia of watching this as a kid - As Pogo vdeos should be. This is the closest to his style. It's not right to take the imagery away from the music. You certainly got my vote, and would get many more from me if it would let me vote again!

My only peeve about this one is that some of the scenes were used a bit too much for my taste, but overall I loved it. Although the other entries were well made and fit the music perfectly, this one had the Pogo style which I was looking for.
You got my vote. ;)

Defffffffffinitely got my vote. Although all the others were a stylistically distinct from Pogo's regular videos, this one was the most compelling. It is the only one that really carries the song's energy and truly "works".

At first glance, I knew I would love your one. It brought shivers down my legs due to the elegance and continues to carry on with Pogo's imagery for his works. I'm not a huge fan of favourtism and choosing one person to win something, but I do hope you continue with your fan videos so people can have a fresh breath of music to listen to. i love this and the stick figure (producing music) videos, but to me, the pogo videos are about seeing the emotion in the characters faces during each part of the song, like with bangarang/expiladicious/skynet symphonic etc. etc.
You picked out the parts from the film exceptionally, and it has defiantely got that pogo feel to it! :D

Out of all the vids I've seen for the competition, I hope this one wins. All the other ones were entertaining, but this is the one that keeps both Pogo's style and music alive! Great work and I hope you come out on top!!

This definitely captures Pogo's style. Whoever did this, wow, you been sittin down and watching pogo video's 8 hours a day minimum to get this down to a science.
