Snow in April wasn't that unsuusal when I was young during the 70s and 80s. About 12 inches fell on my birthday April 26th - 1979 I think.

There is more chance of a white Easter than Christmas, the sea is at it's coolest around early spring, which could be why. Sweet Vid anyway and love the snowman!

lol yeah we have never had a white xmas in uk we normal get snow well unlayed snow here about feb/march... but april is normaly warm and buds are coming up that was a shock to wake up to that.

wow well i wasnt born then lol im only 5 :) we lived in canada so used to the snow but was still a big shock :) mummy wasnt born till 78 either :) right going to play in the freah snow that fall last night ... as the snow ere was last years stuff :)...happy snow building if your in uk today :)

il tell you what,you bloody wouldent like it right now here in in lancs,its an icy blast which ive never known everything out there is coverd in 2 inch of fkin ice,its minus 5 and the snow drives hard and agressive it would turn u into a ice pop girl

i would love it after living in canada at -40 and windchills of -55+ and 25inchs of snow i`d feel like i was home if i was up there now :(

lol yes.. it dont snow alot here in the uk but we lived in canada so when the spring comes and snow melts out there you can make snowmen lol :)

ok i love snow, i live on merseyside. We so close to sea it never snows!!! That event actually passed over us before hitting you. It was just slushy hail wen it arrived here! Two miles inland thick white snow! ARG.. ANNOYING. Last good snow event for us was March 06

We had about 3" down in the south of the UK and it was magic. Everything stopped for awhile... not much choice, no gritted roads, snowplows, etc,, but gorgeous to watch. Lovely video!!!! I hope the snowman doesn't melt by the morning, he's lovely :(
