Hong Kong is the place 2 be. As for shenzhen.. it's dirty, dangerous and rude peoples. much criminal activities happens there.

Hong Kong self is a one big amusement park. There are a lot of things to do, see and to learn.
As you should know HK is a shopping paradyse, you'll encounter almost everything and anything.
Let me tell you the must do in HK.
1. Avenue of stars(Kowloon, Tsim sha Tsui);
be sure to go by night for first time, believe me, the panoramic view on the skyline will blow you away like it did to me!!
2. big budha in lantau island
3. victoria peak (day and night)
4. Try some of the chinese cuisine
