  • Why are Republicans "representing" the Tea Party anyway? ---------> Sarah Palin's hi-jacking

  • I don't mind paying Social Security taxes out of my paycheck because it's the ring thing to do: federal taxes? No thanks, the government completely abuses my taxes over and over and over with false promises. FUCK U!

  • Charlie Bass and the GOP vote to turn Medicare into a Vegas slot machine.

  • The treasonous filth of the GOP is gong into apoplexy over this ad, drooling and slobbering and demanding it be taken off the air. These "people," (and I use the term in the loosest possible sense, as loose as an attack of diarrhea.) LOATHE AND FEAR THE TRUTH. Maybe some of 'em will stroke out over this ad. Better world.

  • "going." Sorry, typo.

  • Republicans have introduced a plan to replace Medicare with Groupons.

  • I don't like Charlie Bass but this ad is complete BS

  • @horsite1 How is it complete BS? Either Bass is for or against medicare and since he voted against it he is obviously against it just like all the other Republicans.

  • I hope the Republican Party can afford to buy Deputy General Counsel Jackie Barber a dictionary, so that any future letters demanding that such ads not be run won't have the word "ascent" used when "assent" is meant. Reading the demand letter reminded me of something said by a much smarter Republican: "It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak up and remove all doubt." Abraham Lincoln.

  • @teddybtoronto you made me laugh out loud, and smile ear to ear. Just read your quote to everyone in my office! Bravo TBT

  • The GOP has voted to end Medicare .. they realize the voters will not stand for it .. so what do they do ... they seek to censor.

Sorry GOP -- you made this your party position .. you own it and everybody knows it.

  • These repuglicans are a bunch of spoiled brats who can dish it out but can't take it. Two to three years of BS about Obama's birth certificate and now these assholes are trying to ban the truth about medicare?

    Give me a f**ing break...

  • Pelosi, Reed et al know that medicare will run out of money in 2020 (or thereabouts). Stop being political cowards. Stop trying to scare people and propose a solution! The status quo is not a viable option!

  • @jameshart77

The Affordable Care Act, which you Teabaggers fought tooth and nail, extended the financial viability of Medicare from 2014 to 2024. How brave of Republicans to abolish Medicare in order to fund tax cuts for Donald Trump and Paris Hilton.

  • @jameshart77 If you are republican, you should be against this medicare ponzi scheme. Why worry about it ? let it die on its own.

  • Pelosi, Reed et al know that medicare will run out of money in 2020 (or thereabouts). Stop being political cowards. Stop trying to scare people and propose a solution! The status quo is not a viable option!

  • I am a 46 year old insulin dependent diabetic with diabetic complications and I am alive thanks to medicare, If the GOP kills medicare they may as well hold a gun to my head and pull the trigger cause that is what they will be doing!

  • The modern GOP is purely evil, motivated by greed and self interest. They lie, cheat and deceive whenever they can. Through FOX, through all their statements. Never trust a Republican, they are out to benefit those filling their pockets, not the average American.

  • LOL!! Do you believe these right-wing pussies wrote a letter to the President asking him to "call off the dogs" on the bill THEY VOTED FOR TO END MEDICARE and turn it into a voucher program. Votes have consequences Now either live of die with your vote. What's really funny is what incentive do the President have to help a party of pathetic liars and shills who's agenda is to make him a "one term president"? NONE! Forget about agendas like creating jobs and unimportant shit like that.

  • Welcome to the Republican Party - leave your heart at the door.

  • GOP WATBs --

    National Republican Congressional Committee"

  • Haha Republicans are butthurt about this ad and are trying to get it banned from New Hampshire airwaves. That rules.

  • Forget FICA. That money belongs in my pocket, not the gov's. Wouldn't you all rather have 7.65% of your wages left on your check? For most people that's an extra 2700 dollars a year if you make 35,000. That's 2,700 you could spend on your health, savings, building a retirement plan, so on. That's almost five months of mortgage payments for me.

If you need government, to make these very simply choices for you, you are a complete loser and I'd be ashamed to call you my countryman

  • However, IF republicans really want to talk about "entitlements", then Congress needs to relinquish its "right" to permanent health care for life, FREE, on the taxpayers. There is no reason that permanent perk is warranted. EVER. THAT IS AN ENTITLEMENT THAT NEEDS TO STOP that will save millions each year! When they have to pay for what we have already been paying for THEN they MIGHT shut up. And the next time they vote to shut down the government, they DO NOT GET PAID.

  • The republicans are tossing around Medicare calling it is an "entitlement". It is NOT an entitlement. It has been paid for by every person who has ever worked in this country as a deduction from their paycheck from their first job.

  • @kikikloe It is an entitlement. Oh? And the eldery in the 60s when this act was introduced? Did they put in their fair share? No? I didn't think so. They stole from us, and now we're paying them back. That is an unfunded subsidy, that IS an entitlement. Now, each generation is enslaved to the generation it produces. It's a pathetic, lazy, and disgusting system.

Guess it's easier to enslave everyone else's children as long as you don't have to think about it that way.

  • Charlie Bass and any other representative that voted to privatize and voucherize Medicare, a program we have been paying for on each paycheck, needs to go.

  • If you watch this be sure to share it with others. We must stop the GOP destruction of Medicare and Medicaid.

  • @13madcat Pssshhh, dismantle them all. I don't need the government to run these things for me, and you all don't deserve the little money I have. I barely have enough to take care of myself, but I guess, to help these libs buy votes, I need to hand some over to Ms. Brickett here. No, it's not her families responsibility to help her at all. Noooo, her family shouldn't have to bear the burden, we all should. Nooo, she shouldn't have to change her lifestyle, we all should.
