nice video. did u use the Rendering thingy in inventor. i tried to use it but for me it only goes until 30 sec and could not figure out how to increase it to more then that, in the vidoe editor. but i can see ure video is more then 30s, how did u do that?
@ombwa111 Sorry but that was 5 years ago, I don't use Inventor anymore, for most animations I was using Inventor Studio, entire process was very intuitive and I figured it out without any tutorials in terms of minutes. I had some problems with other animations, I remember I was rendering in 10 sec sequences (RAM problems). Try some tutorials, sry but can't help you more, as I don't have even access to Inventor at the moment.
Hi, nice video. I'm interested in hiring you to produce similar animations for me. What kind of fees would you charge? If interested please contact me trimahon at gmail dot com. Take care and Keep up the good work!
Güzel Bir paylaşım.. Fakat daha Görsel Ve farklı olabilirdi. Rulmanları Sarhoş yapıp güçlendirme gibi bi olasılıkda vardı. Yağlama secustür Lerini göremedim :D
How did you get that smooth rotary motion of the shafts and gears going? I have tried to make an object rotate continuously but it always ends up reversing direction about every 2 seconds. Has anyone else had this problem and solved it?
@Tempest20000 Sorry but I don't remember exactly (I don't use Inventor at the moment) but from what I remember it was easy. If I remember correctly I was setting number of deg and time, for example 360 deg per revolution, so 3600 deg for ten revolutions and time for 10s, something like that. Which Inventor do you use?
this was nice i'm new at inventor but really love it and your project was truly outstanding must have taken some time to learn to use the program... nice job
you obviously put a lot of effort into this. Not everyone knows how to use all the modules of a CAD package, even in industry - very impressive. I'm trying to learn routing and nailboards in Inventor at the moment.
Dopiero zaczynam swoja przygode z trojwymiarowym modelowaniem, ale potrafie sobie wyobrazic ile pracy wymaga zaprojektowanie takiej przekladni i zrobienie animacji.
Im using this in class, how do i make like.. videos and movement and animation. I made a halfway cool looking dragster, if i make a track and stuff how can i make it move?
"how do i make like.. videos and movement and animation."
U need to use Inventor Studio for animation. I always move camera but it looks like an object is moving but it's illusion. Unfortunately I don't have any tutorials about animations but it's very easy I've learned it by myself in just one day or something.
perfect. well done. i don't know anything about engineering but i'm sure that's just they way it's supposed 2 be made and that animation is great! like professional!
do you still have the file, or any measurements or something?
cause i have to draw your gearbox for school and it would really help if you still had these

Excellent job. Did you use Design Accelerators to create the bevel gears, shafts, and bearings?
fj1200abs 3 years ago
Thanks. Yes I used Design Accelerators to create the shaft, bevel gears, and bearnings. It's a very useful tool.
