@GETaYOTA Clearly you are wrong. Toyota has not made a vehicle that can compete with the Jeep yet.. when they do maybe you can come rock crawling and mudding with me.. maybe you have a toyota with some mods that can get along well enough but my STOCK Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon can smoke your little "toy"
Our Rubi is completely stock for now. We're planing on getting a lift and some bigger tires for her pretty soon. But we were able to do Rattlesnake Cyn up to Big Bear (Calif) no problem, completely stock.
She's still completely stock and we've gone some pretty rough places with it so far. She's done perfect and we never got stuck. We did Gold Mine Trail in Big Bear, Calif with no trouble at all.
We're planing on putting a 4" lift and maybe get some bigger tires eventually so we can do the Rubicon Trail. But she'll pretty much go anywhere you want now. :O) Hope this helps!
I LOVE my Rubi! :O) I love the power windows and door locks!!! I would have liked the Navi, but Rubicon are hard to come by so we snatched this one up quickly. The top is still hard to put down and lots of cabin noise...the usual Wrangler things. One bad thing, though...mud stains the top and a little bit on the plastic fenders...I'm concerned about that and don't know how to get it off. :O(
thanks for your input! just noticed u rolling backwards when starting up that hill couldnt tell if reverse lights were on? you have the manual? if so how is it, if its auto u think it should have another gear?? heard the jump from 3rd to 4th was pretty long and yea all the local dealers have are model x's tried to test drive a rubi last week!
Well hubby was driving and I'm not sure if he had it in reverse or not.....Rubi is an automatic and we haven't had any problems with the transmission on this one. We had an '06 Wrangler Unlimited (not a Rubicon) that, after fighting with Chrysler for a year and a half, they finally had to buy back because of bad tranny problems(went through 2 trannys and a few other parts).
Well we've go out to some better places since this video but I can't seem to figure out how to get the video from my cam corder to the computer...lol This shot was taken with my digital camera. We've got to Big Bear a few times and did some rock crawling...the Rubi did great!
:) lol, do you have the cable for it? all you should need is a usb type cable thatll go from cam to computer port and maybe an installation disc that should come with ur cam if its needed. on some you can just use the cable plug it in and your computer will download whats needed.. have you had any problems with the top leaking or any other troubles? thanks for responding!
^_^ for being brand new and ur 1st video not bad it actually got a little ummm dusty! it would be so heart breaking to bring that into its first trail ride
I have had a liberty and grand cherokee and next Im gonna get a wrangler...I dont go off road that much but when I do its great to know u have the most capable vehicle
HA HA, it is pretty lame, but hey, we had just bought it the day before and I was quite paranoid lol. Rubicons aren't cheep, hehe We did get some good footage this weekend from some pretty difficult trails but I have to figure out how to get it from my cam corder to my computer (this was taken from my little digital camera)...I'm so technologically challenged. :o/
toyota has the legendary land cruiser and jeep has the wrangler. both are capable as hell and unique
