  • I`m 43, maybe I`m too young for your channel Andy? Just wanted to share a thought: Your vids are a little like a quality buffet, rich and satisfying. This is an explosive feast! I love it!!!!

  • finally, some music i can understand!

  • @daasvand Someone gets me !!!!

  • Love the trippy music and "dancing" in this. I agree todays music isn't a scratch on the bands of the 60s and 70s but they are some bands that are pretty good.

  • @Rutle Some are..But you have to exaggerate to make a point sometimes.. (I do that a lot tee hee)

  • It's Art ! Truly ! Amazing ... You are amazing in every way, Andy ! And yes, our music's way better !!!

    Big hugs and love :))))

    Sofiya

  • @Barisof Hello beautiful Sofiya. Always a great thrill whenever I hear from you. It looks like your career is really taking off (as it should)

haha about our music. I think the general consensus is that it is.

Love and Hugs back at you

    :)))))))))

  • @MrAlphacenturi Thanks Gray. X Factor make me look good. So I don't hate it so much haha Glad you liked it.

  • hahaha welcome to the club!

but give them some time, they'll grow into it one needs a few decades to get one's ears tuned to multitonalparapsychologikelektroangst funk

or you could do some simple tunes in one tonality with the lyrics oohooh/ I love you/ I hope you love me too (hey it rhymes) dye your hair blond and start performing in primary schools...

hope you stay as you are Andy! love the guitars here, did you play that yourself? really great! tune is inciting and weird as it should be!

  • @analogic10 All the guitars are me picking away... I have a strange style..Since I can't play like anyone, I don't... No way am I dying my lovely hair !!! But I am tempted to do a mock-cute song to show I can...Really tempted... Then I would be hip with my niece !!

Multitonalparapsychologikelektroangst funk rocks !!! haha It would be a good album title, but would be too long to fit on the cover !!

Always great to hear from you my awesome friend. Glad you liked it !!

    You made my day.

    :)))))

  • Fantastic music and visuals. Cheers, Gabby.

  • @EdMuirton Thanks for checking it out Gabby. It's a little mad, but then, so am I...

  • @Toracube All the most interesting people are....!

  • Awesome

    Grandma Mary

  • ...betcha your niece thinks you're weird lol!

Looked like it was a great street party!

Good music to go with it!!

Good art and music is timeless, isn't generational.

Like your icon and background too while it lasts!

not to mention your write up, wish i could write stuff like that!!

    Love, m ; )

  • @streetspiritlive She does !! It was great. The original music was an Irish jig thing..thus the green socks... That had to go straight away lol

Write-ups are half the fun. This one was too good. People read it and forgot about the music.. It backfired a little.

Oh well, You live and learn...

    haha

    :)))))

  • Way to get experimental. It still maintains a musical quality while going over the edge. (I know what you mean about strange tastes.. my daughter was heavy into dubstep and glitch? and I couldn't get it. She's always been my #1 fan and likes the classics too but this "dance" music is too gone for me.) I'm one of those 45-50 peeps.

  • @MrECLECTICIAN I'm up there... It isn't so bad... I still think I am 20.. My sis says she likes Dubstep but i think she is just saying that to look cool and hip with her daughter...Glitch...shudder... For some of my records check out DracsFunkyCoffin (It's still up, but having 2 channels was killing me.. So it has been abandoned..funky) My stuff is always going to be experimental cause I get bored easy. Hopefully it is gettable. I like it anyway.

    Cheers MrE !!

    :)))

  • @Toracube I've tried some experimental stuff, most doesn't get to the posting stage.. mayube back in my "recreational" days I'd have more of that. The closest I 've come is one of my oldest uploads... I'll send you the link for kicks.

  • woohoouuu....don`t feel old my friend.....i am a bit under the named age......i love your special style....don`t know, if it will help you......but if you will reach the youth.....perhaps you must try to make something like, eh,.....hiphop???? I don`t ask for that.....i search a way to make my art.....i search a way to find a language....you found a language....and this is great!

    xxx

    Tine

  • @tinitussi21 No way !! Hip Hop sucks !! It only ever sounds good in French... I would rather go to the dentist....

    We are all searching...

    Thanks Tine

    Hope you liked the vid.

    xxx

  • @Toracube

Hahahaha....funny guy, i know what you mean......rather the dentist as hiphop, i agree....hahahahahaha!!!

DidN`t i mentioned it? Yes.....of course, i like your vid!!! And your style...wish you a wonderful week, my friend!

    xxx

    Tine

  • Oh, I'm glad you meant it as a joke mostly. Hhahaha... green socks.. :)))

Can you take a picture and show it to me when you wear them? :)))

By the way, your new icon looks very cool.

  • @kumhuimusicgirl If I am generalising I am almost always joking. Said for effect, to see what other people think or to send myself up. My views change all the time, so when I say something, I could change my opinion about it by the next week. I am very flexible....

I don't think I can find any green socks.. Maybe that guys Mom made them for him... but if I do I will send a pic haha I just changed the icon... What was it like?

  • Andy, why should you feel old because your audience is around 45-50? I don't get that.

I think people around 40-65 have the best taste in music, for my experience. Of course there are some exceptions. The ages of the people who listen to my music doesn't matter to me at all, as long as they appreciate it. Like Frank said 'Who cares?'

Very cool music and fun video!

  • @kumhuimusicgirl It was said more in fun. I generalise obviously (for comic effect mostly) There are always exceptions. But my neice is a lost cause (and her pals are no better)

I think music was more inventive, and had more risks in the 70's. That is why I am drawn to it. But again I generalise.. In a way the debate over the best music decade has overshadowed the Vid... Didn't plan that lol Glad you enjoyed the Vid K !!! I have to get some green socks !!!

    Love you

    xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  • @BlackHoleDiver I have no idea what is in the charts these days... I always liked to find out stuff for myself than be told what is good or bad by Music Mags ect Some people need music to be in an advert before they think it's cool.. I still have faith in YT even though they are doing a lot of damage to it..

You are right. Maybe the lack of quality does spur us on. Hadn't thought of it that way before...

    Cheers BHD !!!

    :)))

  • I agree - all the music I stumble over today has been thoroughly cleansed of all quirkiness and originality. But yours hasn't! As Thoreau wrote, each of us marches to the beat of a different drummer! Was it your music that created that spontaneous dance happening in the street? I'll bet it was! Cheers to my highly original pal!

  • @tedgangersongs I had to get this one out of the way !! Actually I was impressed with his shift halfway to a raised-right leg shimmy (a Celtic thing I think) In Riverdance all arm movement is frowned upon... Maybe that's why their goal-keepes aren't much good.. Thanks Ted. Now I can give full attention to the project !!

  • what kind of a crazy masonic?

  • @bratfett I am sure it makes sense to him... But there were two others there standing qyuietly...watchinging... next there will be 6... That's how Scientology started..

  • @bratfett I am sure it makes sense to him... But there were two others there standing qyuietly...watchinging... next there will be 6...

  • Mushrooms, optional.

  • @Clobberbob55 hahaha

    The Dancer was on something...

    Hi Clob !!!!

    :)))

  • There was "some" good music in the 80's and 90's, although I can't think of any off the top of my head. hahaha

I'm kinda' partial to the 70's myself, although I can't remember many of those either but unlike the 80's n' 90's, it ain't cuz the 70's weren't good it's just that my memory seems to have a lot of voids from that period... go figgur.

The 20's thru the 70's that's the big old sweet spot in my book.

Good Stuff Andy, kinda' jazzadelic. :-))

  • @profwaldo I remember the 70's just about.. Because it was the decade I started to learn about girls, music, movies. It was the time when we waited for Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gay's, Chaka Khan's ect ect latest LPs. It was an event.

I look at the charts and I feel nothing... Careers are over in a year and then a greatest Hits is released... X-Factor represents this decade quite well.

Glad you liked it Wally !!!

  • I like this music very much, congratulations..it has something intemporal in it, like a carousel..I think good music is always there, no matter time and space, music is always music, today and always ..Cheers, my friend! :-)

  • @rapidopato One of my fav things is to find a bit of music that isn't popular that rocks !! It is almost always hidden away on a cd away from the hits. Then somehow it becomes a pal. Thanks for watching this. The music is always more important to me on these vids than the pics.. It's a bit off-beat but gettable (I think so anyway)

    Cheers RP !!

  • Hey don'worry we get younger back again when we reach sixty lol! The problem with most music today is because it's being constructed produced and promoted by people who just want to wash brains with scientifically arrange music that is catchy to the one who has not had the chance of listening to real sincerely created music. But I do know the questionning spleen moon and wich your piece represent's it well. Love the shots of the dancing;-)

  • @Boucrate The people were dancing better than that guy, but without him nothing would be happening. 60 !! I don't think i'll make it... But if i do I will still be playing football.. I think i hate the processed vocals that are around these days as much as that thing they call modern r'n'b where 100 notes are thought to be better than just 1.. I am definitely OLD SCHOOL !!! Cheers Boucrate !!!

    :))))

  • I don't know if music was better in,the old days ,(even if the 60 's were a creative era , the 80's sounds terrible for me .. )

But I had tremendous fun watching and listening to this ,Andy !! You are more creative than ever !!

  • @apoxisprod Musically it is a bit adventurous.. Those paintings you see, where the painter just throws paint on the canvas..and it ends up looking like a painter who just threw paint on the canvas..well this is what I was going for.. There is a jazzy piano thing going on underneath.. Probably buried.. I have 5 versions of this..all different and had to pick one... This one has loads going on..

It is fun to see what people think.

For me the 70's rocked but I was very young..

    Thanks Pascal !!

    :))

  • Well...eh? I like the funny dance, the moody/nostalgic tones and the commonts about age and music. Dont worry, it is related to fashiontrends I believe, so it is all comming back another day! Good music never die!!

  • @funkfanzzify Very true.. (Actually I don't hate all the music of today but it is fun to rant about how our stuff was better back in our day haha) Glad you liked the tune FF !! Thanks for checking it out. The dancer was great !!

    :))))

  • When you see "the music was better in the '80s" and feel old then you really are...The '80s!!?!!

  • @fendermac Music was much better in the 80's than it was now. In the 90's nothing happened.. A wasted decade musically..

The 70's were the best by far !!!

I felt old even as a kid haha

  • During the early 80's a lot of wonderful music has been worked out....I feel very old too....I'm 48, in fact, so...actually I can't say I'm young anymore!!! ;-P

let's say that our taste about music is a little bit more refined and classy, I can't listen to Justin Bieber at all, but of course my son could and would do it! Good music, this one, and great job on the vid as usual!

  • @nikicover It is more refined and classy. I hear the line "It's before my time" but I know about Charlie Parker, Fats Waller, Louis Armstrong, Nat King Cole...ask a kid...They are clueless.. Kids have more choice.. But the good older stuff is buried and is only heard if it is put in an advert or sampled for some Rap guy to talk crap over..

    It bugs me a little...

    Thanks Niki

    xx

    :)))

  • Hi Andy, the google analytics shows it all: my audience is around 45,...haha, who cares...I am 47, so it fits. I don´t say music was better, I can´t hear that 70´s and 80´s stuff anymore, I played 20 years long covers, Beatles, Stones, Dire Straits, Gary Moore,Purple, all that stuff, boring for me (only for money). I like classical, my Jazz vinyls, now as YT-clips... and the radio is tuned in for todays Charts (I don´t look/listen back in Pop)

    Frank

  • @FrankRMusic I can see why covers like that would drive musicians crazy.. I imagine Shirly Bassey must hate Goldfinger...singing it every night...even though it makes her money...just because the punters expect it. I am more of a 70's kid... Something about that era... It seemed more adventurous..The clothes...the music.. When I was a kid I always hung out with older people..Maybe that's why.

Todays charts... (shudder) Even Prince has given up.

    Thanks Frank !!!

    :)))

  • Andy, I think every generation thinks the new generations music is worse than theirs. I have a 17 year old but I controlled his early music, He listened to classical music and jazz. Now he likes classic rock. He has an appreciation for music and now plays keyboards and guitar. I suppose that's way better than heavy metal shredders and barkers!!!!! My kid thinks the older music is better too.Cool song, Andy.

  • @Ajohn13 She wan't controlled and is now lost to the radio telling her what is cool... Very sad. And I think the damage is irreversible.. I hope so anyway....

I found my own way. Dad had just 4 lps as we grew up... Herb Alpert, a Marching Band One, Nina Mouskouri and The first Barbara Streistand LP... (Not great, but better than what I hearthese days) At least it wasn't this modern r'n'b or Rap rubbish....

    Thanks John !!!

  • "Green socks" in my head for the rest of the week!

Thank you Andy....Like your Out of Step Vid!

Have to agree with you !

    Our music is Better!!

    Susan xx

  • @BravuraK Haha He wasn't the greatest dancer in the world (but then neither were the others) but in his mind he was Fred Astaire. And what was one guy jigging in a circle became a street-dance... The socks....the socks !!! lol

    Our stuff kicks theirs !!!

    Andy

    xx

    :))))

  • I'm getting older too, The music was better in the 80's

Clubbing back then was so much better than now.

  • @TheJKVW It was K !! And if anyone wants proof of it they should go to your channel. Still one of the best on YT for the coolest sounds.

We are all getting older. That isn't so bad, to me. But the kids just don't know what they are missing !!!

    Thanks K !!!

    xxx

    :)))))

  • Oh music was definitely better then Andy! =)

And age is just a number... Young, an attitude! =)

    Great post here indeed! =)

  • @VerusiunctiO Our Music was amazing. They have to sample it cause they can't think up anything new lol

Thanks Mikey !!! Glad you liked it !!

    :)))

  • I don't know, Andy, I think you are looking at this the wrong way. I've been trying to break into the over-80 age bracket. It's were the money is. Right now I am working on a snappy little number about dentures. Great job!

  • @songblurred I imagine us all in one big Old peoples home in a few years... Wanting to hear our cool stuff and the nurse will be playing her Justin Bieber stuff and we will have to mutiny. All of us in our Zimmer frames haha

Thanks Don. I look forward to what you come up with !!

    :)))

  • @songblurred A thong about denthureths ?

Now thaths my kinda' muthic. Bring it on man !
