  • like tasting the finest wine... and simply being alone in solitude to enjoy it's savor..

  • The best violinist ever!!

  • If this man had lived for 100 more years his life would still be short... he had so much to give in his music.....

  • Stephane, how I wish you could have lived forever. At least your magnificent music is immortal. I love you. Rest in peace.

  • True emotions. True artists. True passion. Simply a true music.

  • Hoagy Carmichael would have adored this version, arguably the most romantic rendition ever recorded. I often play this first and then follow it immediately with Stef's great take on " More".

  • I was in Paris two years ago and I wanted to visit his grave at Pere Lachaise Cemetery. When I went there, it was too late and the cemetery was closed. The next day I left paris. It's a pity. I hope next time i will be lucky. God bless your soul Mr. Grappelli

  • thank you! i heard this song 20 years ago. It was general reason to play jazz and other music. Now I still trying to get the sound of his violin.Just only trying;-)

  • Hi there, on which album can I find this version, it´s beautiful!

  • Que Hermosura!!!

  • Simply wonderful! Thank you for posting this.

  • @zateuz

Svend Asmussen kan precis det du säger!
