To be fair: cops don't pick which laws they want to enforce. They are obligated by their job - even if they personally don't have a problem with it - to bust people when they find it. Veteran Officers, 20 years, 13 years on the force, and a social worker, someone who you entrust with your children, these were good meen, upstanding citizens, forced to fear for their livelihoods because of an ignorant law that is unfounded and out of date. All that the community in-favor of legalization of Marijuana is asking for is an even, unbiased, debate. One uninfluenced by the social stigmas of a minority and un-reached by its largest proponents for fear of crominalization.

The reson the herb is illegal is because you cant make a profit on a industrial scale. According to the american constitution "nature" cant be patented. Thus everyone would be allowed to produce it if it was legal.
Just think of it, why use alcohol or tobaco if there was a 100% natural substitute that isint lethal or even proven to be physically harmfull in any way. It would DESTROY the corporate market!
