first of All.. NEVER EVER advice beginners to go for xp, 'cause those who did that and are full level for only thinking about leveling up gets their ass kicked... They don't stand a chance against players that have working on their skill In battle which is what matters online. My advice is to learn how to play against other players and THEN Think about leveling up

Great video for a new players, full of informations about how to play, and move around the Old West in multiplayer, but in my opinion private free roam is not so good offer for newbies, because they can have some problems in public FR, like skills in fight with other players, very important for all competetive matches. Every new player should be thrown in the deep end at beginning, starting from public games. That's more helpful, trust me.

@GTHEBESTDUDE its alot easier to level in RDR. in GTA 4 you need other players to level. like Deathmatches, races and Co-op. in RDR you can do the challenges and hideouts all by yourself. yes theres a trophy/achievment for reaching 50 and another one for prestiging/legendary thing. which you start back at level 1 but you gain new new stuff and unlock stuff quicker. also R* give Triple XP when their playing or just for a weekend

WHY IS FREE ROAM MISSING SO MUCH STUFF? IT NEEDS LIFE! ITS DEAD! Missing lots of great stuff from the regular game. The mini games. Lasso! Shops! It needs more roleplay! Not over doing it but not this! & more people in each game! That said, they were really on the right track! Single player is amazing and this could be so much better! Still play tho! Maybe hope for DLC or sequil. No real hope that I can walk into Rockstar and direct a new update or something. lol!
