If you feed him with the tweezers, he's probably associated the tweezers with food and that makes him act that way. I've heard of people using this type of thing to train monitor lizards.

oh man this could be my little guy^^
he walks to the front when i enter the room O.O
when i put a leaf from the plants away he run towards my hands, maybe there is food for him ^^
and if he sees tweezers.... he is just like urs ^^
