A beautiful performance of a beautiful old hymn. A beautiful sound to that pipe organ. From the sound I'm guessing it's old. The modern one aren't usually tuned that way.
I just discovered this hymn this past Sunday, where it was included on the American radio/internet broadcast of Sing for Joy. Thank you so much for taking the time to make and post this video. Beautiful hymn!
By the way, where is this lovely church? Somewhere in the UK, I'm guessing.
Thanks Very Much for the kind comments, from what you know it takes members like myself of the youtube community allot of time to prepare videos and also to upload them I appreciate that.
I always enjoy this hymn,i like to play the alto part a octave higher in a couple of the verses for a special effect it sounds really good like that, well done !!
@binstence Thank you your welcome!
