Did they not mention in the inaugurating show that this show has been adapted in "37" other countries? US, Britain and India are just a part of that entire chain.
It's NOT a copy. The sponsors launch these shows in AS MANY countries as possible. Just as the idol shows and the KBC saga, even this is an "adaptation" probably with either the permission or at the request of the original creators of this chain "so-and-so's got talent."
@whoddaya ur almost right. but they don't request or ask for permission, nothing in this world is free. the producers of the show in India actually buy the franchise and with it all the rights. its the same with the idol series and its the same all over the world with all the shows that seem to have the same name but in different countries.
@donnoble17 Yes, of course there's need to be monetary compensation. I meant to say that the permission probably came at a cost, but the original creators of the show (wherever it first launched) knew that a similar concept in another country is going to be launched.
