Duff Goldman made a Dalek cake on his show. It looked so real it was scary! It even had blinking lights and electronic voice: "EXTERMINATE!" It's worth a look if you can find the episode.

I wonder if there will be one for the new coloured daleks, with the different shape and all.

Of course, I'm not one for too much food colouring, and I love chocolate, so I'd probably make it the same old-style brown dalek colour, but it'd be interesting to see how they adapt the swiss roll thing to make the newer dalek shape.

That's weird- Valerie Singleton sure did make this the EXACT SAME WAY pretty much and now we have it again 41 years later...

...dunno why they still do that confusing step around 1.44; why didn't she just rotate the add-on bit by 180 degrees on the tabletop before sticking it on, rather than all the confusing cutting bits off the end??
