Why didn't BP use this device? It's simple, all parts are more or less available and they could got away with two weeks of spill. Why wasn't this shown to the Coast Guard?
If BP would use this device, they could even earn money on it becase they colud use the oil that are beeing pump up to the surface.

@macdriller Probably becuse nobody listened.. It's hard to get one good idea noticed when there are 1000s coming in.
